Which companies sponsor visas for compliance program managers in Wisconsin?
Northwestern Mutual, Fiserv, and Advocate Aurora Health are among the most active sponsors in Wisconsin for compliance-related roles, based on historical H-1B visa disclosure data. American Family Insurance and Exact Sciences in Madison also appear in sponsorship records. Financial services, insurance, and healthcare employers drive the majority of compliance program manager sponsorship activity in the state.
Which visa types are most common for compliance program manager roles in Wisconsin?
The H-1B is the primary visa category for compliance program managers in Wisconsin, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in law, business, finance, or a related field, meeting the specialty occupation standard. Candidates with Canadian or Mexican citizenship may qualify for the TN visa under the NAFTA/USMCA professional category. Australians should explore the E-3 visa as an alternative path.
Which cities in Wisconsin have the most compliance program manager sponsorship jobs?
Milwaukee accounts for the largest share of compliance program manager sponsorship activity in Wisconsin, driven by its concentration of financial institutions, insurance companies, and large healthcare systems. Madison is the second strongest market, with compliance roles tied to biotech firms, university-affiliated organizations, and state-regulated industries. Smaller markets like Green Bay and Appleton have limited sponsorship activity in this role category.
How to find compliance program manager visa sponsorship jobs in Wisconsin?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it easier to identify compliance program manager openings in Wisconsin without sorting through roles that won't support international candidates. You can narrow results by state and role type to focus on Milwaukee and Madison employers with a history of H-1B sponsorship. Searching by industry, such as financial services or healthcare, helps further target relevant opportunities.
Are there state-specific considerations for compliance program managers seeking sponsorship in Wisconsin?
Wisconsin's compliance hiring is heavily shaped by its insurance and financial services industries, which are subject to state-level regulatory oversight, meaning employers often prefer candidates with domain-specific credentials like CCEP or CRCM alongside their degree. The Department of Labor's prevailing wage requirements for H-1B petitions apply based on the Milwaukee or Madison metropolitan area, depending on the worksite, so offers must meet the posted wage level for the role's SOC code.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored compliance program manager jobs in Wisconsin?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
