Key Responsibilities:

• Establishes and maintains standardized recruitment support processes and procedures that meet the needs of Advocate Health and prospective clinicians, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and consistency throughout the hiring lifecycle.
• Functions as a key operational partner to the recruitment team by supporting Workday processes related to clinician compensation and hire transactions. Ensures data integrity within Workday by accurately entering, updating, and tracking new hire information. Coordinates closely with recruiters, hiring leaders, and Human Resources to facilitate timely and accurate processing of hires.
• Conducts and coordinates pre-employment activities including reference checks, background screenings, and other pre-hire requirements. Ensures all compliance-related steps are completed in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements, proactively addressing any issues that may arise during the pre-employment process.
• Develops and maintains recruitment-related materials and tracking tools. Ensures all recruitment activities are well-documented and aligned with organizational standards.
• Coordinates processes and supports critical projects for the Clinician Services and Recruitment team. Assists with process improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and operational workflows to strengthen recruitment efficiency and effectiveness.
• Performs additional recruitment support functions as assigned, adapting to evolving team needs and contributing to overall recruitment operations and success.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

• None Required.

Education Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration, or
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field.

Experience Required:

• Typically requires 3 years of experience in human resources, marketing, medical group operations or communications that includes experiences in developing relationships with clinicians, educating clinicians on services and programs and facilitating processes across multiple teams.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

• Proven ability to work independently while making critical decisions under tight timeframes and multiple competing priorities.
• Understanding of recruitment strategies, retention practices, business and market development.
• Skills in evaluating, addressing, and providing resolutions to general issues and challenges. Skills in problem solving for effective resolution.
• Knowledge of geographic area served to provide guidance to physicians and their families on the community and surrounding areas.
• Knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations impacting the recruitment function, human resources and the overall implications to the organization.
• Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and experience to effectively interact and build working relationships with physicians and leadership at all levels.
• Ability to act as a resource and providing guidance to others. Ability to establish exceptional individual relationships based on credibility of expertise and trust.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office and system applications.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Generally exposed to normal office environment.
• Position requires travel, so may be exposed to road and weather hazards.
• Must have functional sight, speech, and hearing.
• Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
