Which companies sponsor visas for service coordinators in Wisconsin?
Healthcare systems are the most active sponsors for service coordinator roles in Wisconsin. UW Health, Froedtert Health, and Advocate Aurora Health have filed H-1B petitions for coordinator positions tied to care management and patient services. Large logistics and insurance employers in the Milwaukee metro, including shipping and managed care organizations, also have documented sponsorship histories for qualifying roles.
Which visa types are most common for service coordinator roles in Wisconsin?
The H-1B is the most common visa for service coordinators in Wisconsin, particularly for roles requiring a bachelor's degree in social work, healthcare administration, or a related field. Canadian and Mexican nationals may qualify under the TN visa if the role falls under an eligible USMCA occupational category. Some positions at nonprofit healthcare organizations may also qualify for H-1B cap-exempt status.
Which cities in Wisconsin have the most service coordinator sponsorship jobs?
Milwaukee is the largest market for sponsored service coordinator roles in Wisconsin, driven by its concentration of hospital systems, insurance companies, and human services agencies. Madison follows closely, supported by UW Health, state government contractors, and social services organizations. Green Bay has a smaller but active market, particularly in disability services and logistics coordination tied to regional distribution operations.
How to find service coordinator visa sponsorship jobs in Wisconsin?
Migrate Mate filters service coordinator job listings in Wisconsin specifically by visa sponsorship availability, saving you from sifting through postings that won't support work authorization. You can browse roles across healthcare, social services, and logistics in Milwaukee, Madison, and Green Bay. Migrate Mate's listings are updated regularly and focus on employers with verified sponsorship histories for coordinator-level positions.
Are there any state-specific considerations for service coordinators seeking sponsorship in Wisconsin?
Wisconsin's large network of federally funded disability and long-term care programs creates consistent demand for service coordinators, and some of these positions qualify for H-1B cap-exempt sponsorship through nonprofit or government-affiliated employers. The University of Wisconsin system also produces graduates who enter coordinator roles on OPT before transitioning to employer-sponsored status, which means some Wisconsin employers are already familiar with the sponsorship process.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored service coordinator jobs in Wisconsin?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
