Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Visa Sponsorship as an ERP Consultant
Target large system integrators first
Firms like Accenture, Deloitte, Infosys, and Wipro sponsor ERP Consultants at high volumes. They have established immigration teams, faster LCA processing, and experience navigating H-1B cap filings for this exact role type.
Align your degree to your ERP specialization
USCIS scrutinizes specialty occupation status for consulting roles. A computer science or information systems degree directly supporting SAP or Oracle work strengthens your petition and reduces the chance of a Request for Evidence.
Document your module expertise in detail
Sponsoring employers need to justify why a bachelor's degree in a specific field is required. Listing specific ERP modules you've implemented, like SAP S/4HANA Finance or Oracle HCM, gives the petition concrete technical grounding.
Understand the LCA wage requirements before negotiating
Your employer files a Labor Condition Application before your H-1B petition. The LCA locks in a prevailing wage level for your role and location, which directly affects what the employer can offer you during sponsorship.
Look beyond tier-one consulting firms
Mid-size ERP implementation partners and regional consulting firms regularly sponsor H-1B visas. They often have faster hiring timelines, more direct access to decision-makers, and less competition than the largest firms attract.
Use Migrate Mate to filter for verified sponsoring employers
Migrate Mate's job board surfaces ERP Consultant roles from employers with confirmed H-1B sponsorship history. Filtering by role removes the guesswork of cold-applying to companies that won't sponsor international candidates.

Find ERP Consultant JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does ERP Consultant qualify as a specialty occupation for H-1B purposes?
Generally yes, but it depends on how the role is defined. USCIS requires that the position normally requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field. ERP Consultant roles tied to a specific platform like SAP or Oracle, where a computer science or information systems degree is standard, hold up well. Roles framed as general business consulting without a clear degree requirement are more vulnerable to RFEs.
What degree do I need for an employer to sponsor me as an ERP Consultant?
Most H-1B petitions for ERP Consultants are filed with a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business information technology, or a closely related field. A business administration degree alone may not be sufficient unless the role description specifically requires it. If your degree field doesn't match directly, relevant postgraduate qualifications or certifications in a specific ERP platform can help support the petition.
How common is H-1B sponsorship for ERP Consultant roles?
H-1B sponsorship for ERP Consultants is among the more common in the technology consulting space. Large system integrators, including Indian IT services firms and the major consulting houses, file thousands of H-1B petitions annually for implementation and functional consulting roles. OFLC disclosure data consistently shows ERP-related titles appearing at high volumes in LCA filings, which reflects genuine employer demand for sponsored candidates.
Can I find ERP Consultant jobs that sponsor visas without going through a staffing agency?
Yes. While staffing agencies and consulting firms do sponsor heavily, direct employers also hire ERP Consultants on H-1B visas for in-house implementation and systems management roles. Migrate Mate lists ERP Consultant positions from both direct employers and consulting firms with confirmed sponsorship history, so you can search specifically for the type of employment relationship you want.
Will a Request for Evidence be more likely for an ERP Consultant petition than other tech roles?
RFE rates for consulting roles are higher than for software engineering roles because USCIS applies additional scrutiny to positions where the degree requirement isn't always obvious. The strongest petitions include a detailed job duties description showing specialized technical work, a degree requirement that matches the ERP platform in question, and evidence the employer requires that specific qualification for all employees in that role.
What is the prevailing wage requirement for sponsored Erp Consultant jobs?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
