How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Partner Executive
Confirm the role meets specialty occupation standards
Partner Executive positions must require a specific bachelor's degree to qualify for H-1B sponsorship. Roles framed as general sales or relationship management without a degree requirement can face USCIS scrutiny during adjudication.
Target companies with an active LCA filing history
Employers who have previously filed Labor Condition Applications for Partner Executive or similar business development titles are far more likely to sponsor again. Prior filings signal an established sponsorship process and legal team.
Document the strategic and technical scope of the role
Partner Executive positions that involve cross-functional collaboration, revenue strategy, or technical integration are stronger H-1B candidates. A detailed job description linking duties to your degree field strengthens the specialty occupation argument significantly.
Prepare for nonimmigrant intent questions at the visa interview
Consular officers assess whether you intend to return home after your visa period. Come prepared with clear ties to your home country and a specific explanation of your career plans beyond the current role.
Browse Partner Executive openings on Migrate Mate
Migrate Mate filters job listings by visa sponsorship availability, so you can focus exclusively on Partner Executive roles where employers have confirmed willingness to sponsor. It removes the guesswork from your job search entirely.

Get Access To All JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Can a Partner Executive role qualify for H-1B sponsorship?
Yes, but the role must meet the specialty occupation standard, meaning it requires at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business administration, marketing, or communications. Generic sales or account management titles without a defined degree requirement are more likely to receive a Request for Evidence from USCIS. A well-drafted job description that ties the duties directly to a degree field significantly improves approval odds.
What visa options are available for Partner Executive roles beyond the H-1B?
Australian citizens can pursue the E-3 visa, which has no lottery and can be obtained through consular processing in Australia. Candidates with exceptional recognition in business development or partnerships may also qualify for the O-1A visa based on extraordinary ability. L-1 visas are an option for Partner Executives transferring from a foreign affiliate or parent company of a U.S. employer.
Does my degree field need to match the Partner Executive role exactly?
Not exactly, but there must be a logical, direct connection between your degree and the position's duties. A degree in business, marketing, communications, or international relations typically supports a Partner Executive application well. Degrees in unrelated fields can sometimes qualify if you hold a combination of education and progressive work experience that USCIS considers equivalent to a relevant bachelor's degree.
How likely are Partner Executive H-1B petitions to be approved?
Approval rates for business development and partnership roles are generally lower than for STEM positions because USCIS scrutinizes whether the role genuinely requires a specific degree rather than general experience. Petitions supported by a detailed job description, an employer with prior sponsorship history, and a clear degree-to-role alignment are considerably stronger. Working with an immigration attorney to draft the petition is advisable for this job category.
Where can I find Partner Executive jobs that offer visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the best place to start. It lists Partner Executive roles specifically filtered by visa sponsorship availability, so every job you see represents an employer who has indicated willingness to sponsor. This saves significant time compared to applying broadly and discovering late in the process that sponsorship is not on the table.
What is the prevailing wage requirement for sponsored Partner Executive jobs?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
