Essential Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment.
- Operate manual mills, lathes, saws, drill presses, grinders, and related shop equipment.
- Fabricate, modify, repair, and assemble prototype parts, tooling, fixtures, and test equipment.
- Determine machining methods, tooling, fixturing, and manufacturing processes required to produce prototype components.
- Prepare test samples, cables, assemblies, and hardware for engineering and qualification testing.
- Build, modify, and support test fixtures and test setups.
- Assist with product testing, troubleshooting, data collection, and prototype improvements.
- Work directly with engineers to develop, evaluate, and refine product designs.
- Inspect work using precision measuring instruments and verify compliance with specifications.
- Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe and orderly condition.
- Provide machining, fabrication, and technical support to Manufacturing as needed.
- Perform other related duties supporting R&D and Manufacturing operations.
