React Native Developer Jobs in USA with Visa Sponsorship
React Native Developer roles are among the more sponsorship-friendly positions in mobile engineering. Most hiring companies file H-1B visa or O-1 petitions for qualified candidates, and the specialty occupation designation is well-established for this title across mid-size and enterprise employers. For detailed occupation requirements, see the O*NET profile.

Target companies with active mobile teams
Employers building consumer-facing apps at scale are far more likely to sponsor than those with legacy codebases. Look for companies with React Native in their public GitHub repos or job descriptions, which signals genuine investment in the stack.
Lead with cross-platform impact in your resume
Sponsoring employers want evidence you can own a codebase, not just write components. Quantify your contributions: reduced build times, improved crash rates, or shipped features across iOS and Android with a single team.
A computer science or software engineering degree strengthens your petition
H-1B specialty occupation approval depends on degree-to-role alignment. A degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field maps cleanly to React Native Developer and reduces the risk of an USCIS Request for Evidence.
Get familiar with the H-1B registration window
H-1B cap-subject petitions require registration in March each year for an October 1 start date. If you need sponsorship, start conversations with employers in December or January so they have time to register before the window closes.
Don't overlook cap-exempt employers
Universities, nonprofit research institutions, and certain government contractors are exempt from the H-1B lottery. If your lottery odds concern you, these employers can file at any time of year, making them a practical parallel track.
Use Migrate Mate to find roles that explicitly sponsor
Many React Native Developer jobs never advertise sponsorship availability upfront. Migrate Mate filters for employers actively willing to sponsor, saving you from wasting applications on companies that won't file a petition.

Find React Native Developer JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does a React Native Developer role qualify as an H-1B specialty occupation?
Yes, React Native Developer consistently qualifies as a specialty occupation because the role requires at minimum a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a closely related field. USCIS has a well-established pattern of approving H-1B petitions for mobile software engineers, particularly when the job description emphasizes complex architectural responsibilities rather than routine development tasks.
What degree do I need for a React Native Developer H-1B petition?
A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related technical discipline is the standard requirement. Degrees in unrelated fields create friction during USCIS adjudication. If your degree is from outside the U.S., a credential evaluation confirming U.S. equivalency is required and should be obtained before your employer files the petition.
How competitive is H-1B sponsorship for React Native Developers?
React Native Developers are in consistent demand, particularly at companies building cross-platform consumer apps. The H-1B lottery is the main obstacle, not employer willingness. In FY2025, USCIS received roughly 442,000 registrations for 85,000 slots, producing a selection rate near 25%. Candidates with a master's degree from a U.S. institution enter the advanced degree pool, which has historically offered modestly better odds.
Can I switch React Native Developer jobs while on an H-1B?
Yes. H-1B portability allows you to start working for a new employer once they file a new H-1B petition on your behalf, as long as your prior H-1B was approved and you've maintained valid status. You don't need to wait for the new petition to be approved before starting, which makes employer changes more practical than many candidates realize.
Where can I find React Native Developer jobs that offer visa sponsorship?
Most general job boards don't filter reliably for genuine sponsorship willingness. Migrate Mate is specifically built for international candidates seeking U.S. visa sponsorship, and lists React Native Developer roles from employers who have indicated openness to sponsoring. Browsing by role on Migrate Mate avoids the guesswork of cold-applying to companies that may decline sponsorship requests at the offer stage.
What is the prevailing wage requirement for sponsored React Native Developer jobs?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
