Duties
- Receive, inspect, and process inbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using order picking and packing techniques
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely to load and unload goods
- Maintain accurate inventory records using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, or inventory management software
- Conduct stock counts, cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy
- Prepare shipping labels, customs documentation, and ensure compliance with trade regulations and shipping logistics standards
- Support order fulfillment by efficiently selecting items from shelves and packing them securely for delivery
- Assist with stocking shelves, organizing storage areas, and maintaining a clean warehouse environment
- Collaborate with team members on warehouse distribution tasks and support logistics operations as needed
- Enter data into systems such as AS400 or MRP (Material Requirements Planning) software for tracking shipments and inventory movements
Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or logistics preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), inventory management software, or ERP systems like AS400 is a plus
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one; experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records
- Excellent customer service skills to support internal teams and external partners when necessary
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment processes, and trade compliance regulations
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment
