Account Manager Jobs in Atlanta: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an account manager job in Atlanta?
Focus your search on Atlanta's technology corridor in Midtown and Buckhead, where SaaS companies, managed service providers, and healthcare IT firms hire account managers most actively. Logistics and supply chain companies headquartered near the airport also post consistently. Candidates who can show a portfolio of named accounts, CRM proficiency, and experience with renewal or upsell cycles stand out in Atlanta's relationship-driven market.
Which companies hire account managers in Atlanta?
Companies currently hiring account managers in Atlanta include State Farm, Eagle Rock Distributing Company, and Intuit, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Atlanta draws a mix of Fortune 500 headquarters, fast-growing technology firms, and regional healthcare and financial services companies that maintain large account management teams.
Are there remote account manager jobs in Atlanta?
Yes, though availability varies by sector. About 45% of account manager openings tied to Atlanta are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, with the highest concentration among SaaS and enterprise software employers. Strategic and renewal-focused roles tend to be the most remote-friendly, while field-based or territory account manager roles typically require in-person client coverage across the metro.
How can I get an account manager job in Atlanta with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Atlanta is a sales development representative or inside sales role at one of the city's many technology or professional services firms in Midtown or Alpharetta, which regularly promote from within into account management. Customer success associate roles at healthcare IT or fintech companies also serve as a direct bridge. Familiarity with Salesforce and the ability to demonstrate any client-facing results, even from internships or campus work, gives entry-level candidates a clear edge locally.
Which industries hire the most account managers in Atlanta?
Atlanta account manager roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Consulting & Professional Services, and Insurance, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Atlanta's status as a fintech hub, a major logistics gateway, and a growing healthcare technology center drives sustained hiring across all three sectors throughout the year.
