Analytics Manager Jobs in Missouri: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a analytics manager in Missouri?
Analytics manager roles in Missouri do not require a state-issued license, so the path runs through education and experience. Most Missouri employers expect a bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, computer science, or business analytics, with a master's degree increasingly preferred at larger organizations. From there, candidates typically move up from analyst or senior analyst roles, building team leadership experience alongside technical skills before stepping into a management position.
Which companies hire analytics managers in Missouri?
Employers hiring analytics managers in Missouri right now include Ryder System, CVS Health, and Academy Bank, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Missouri's concentration of major financial services firms, large regional health systems, and national retailers means analytics manager openings appear across a range of industries with regularity throughout the year.
Which Missouri cities have the most analytics manager jobs?
Kansas City, Jefferson City, and Missouri are the Missouri cities with the most analytics manager openings. Kansas City drives volume through its financial services sector and the presence of regional headquarters for insurance and healthcare companies, while St. Louis adds depth through its pharmaceutical, logistics, and defense-adjacent analytics needs. Columbia's openings tend to cluster around the University of Missouri system and affiliated health network.
Are there remote analytics manager jobs in Missouri?
Yes, and more than most fields. Analytics manager work is fundamentally desk-based and data-driven, making it well suited to remote arrangements. About 33% of analytics manager openings tied to Missouri are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting broader industry norms in this function. Fully remote roles are most common in marketing analytics and enterprise data strategy, where day-to-day work centers on dashboards, reports, and stakeholder presentations rather than on-site operations.
How can I get hired as a analytics manager in Missouri with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is to start as a business analyst, data analyst, or reporting analyst at one of Missouri's large employers and build toward a management role from within. Organizations such as Centene Corporation, BJC HealthCare, and regional financial institutions in Kansas City regularly hire junior analysts and rotate them through projects that develop leadership exposure. Earning a credential such as a Certified Analytics Professional designation or completing a graduate certificate in data analytics at the University of Missouri or Saint Louis University can accelerate the move into management consideration.
Where can I find and apply to analytics manager jobs in Missouri?
You can find and apply to analytics manager jobs in Missouri on Migrate Mate, which lists current Missouri openings updated regularly.
