Analytics Manager Jobs in New Jersey: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become an analytics manager in New Jersey?
Most analytics managers in New Jersey start with a bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, data science, computer science, or business analytics, and several years of hands-on experience as an analyst. New Jersey does not require a state-issued license for this role. Employers in the state's pharma and financial services sectors often prefer candidates with an advanced degree or a recognized certification such as the Certified Analytics Professional designation to move into management.
Which companies hire analytics managers in New Jersey?
Employers hiring analytics managers in New Jersey right now include JPMorganChase, Bayer, and Deloitte, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. New Jersey's concentration of pharmaceutical, insurance, and consumer goods headquarters means many of these roles sit within large, multi-function analytics organizations rather than small standalone teams.
Which New Jersey cities have the most analytics manager jobs?
Jersey City, Princeton, and New Jersey have the most analytics manager openings in New Jersey. Newark and Jersey City draw demand from financial services and technology companies clustered along the Hudson waterfront, while Princeton and its surrounding corridor attract roles tied to pharmaceutical, biotech, and professional services firms headquartered in central New Jersey.
Are there remote analytics manager jobs in New Jersey?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 70% of analytics manager openings tied to New Jersey are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how central this role is to desk-based data work. The positions most likely to remain fully remote are those focused on digital marketing analytics, business intelligence reporting, and e-commerce, where day-to-day work does not require on-site collaboration.
How can I get hired as an analytics manager in New Jersey with little or no experience?
The most realistic path is to build two or more years as a data analyst or business intelligence analyst, then step into a team lead or senior analyst role at one of New Jersey's large pharma or financial services employers, many of which run structured rotational analytics programs for early-career hires. Employers such as Prudential and Johnson & Johnson have established development tracks where strong individual contributors move into people management. A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end projects and a Certified Analytics Professional certification can accelerate that transition.
Where can I find and apply to analytics manager jobs in New Jersey?
You can find and apply to analytics manager jobs in New Jersey on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings across the state. Search the listings for roles that match your experience level and specialization, then apply directly to the ones that fit.
