- Field & Crew Supervision: Lead or assist archaeological field crews (surveys, shovel testing, data recovery, and construction monitoring).
- Project Coordination: Manage daily logistics, equipment prep, staff scheduling, and subconsultant tracking. Assist with tracking project milestones, maintaining schedules, and organize daily workflows
- Research & Compliance: Conduct background and records searches, and support compliance with laws like Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), NEPA, and Washington SEPA.
- Data & Reporting: Perform Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) on field forms, GPS data, site records, and prepare technical report drafts.
- Stakeholder Communication: Assist with client updates, agency coordination, and Native American or tribal monitoring logistics.
- Documentation: Manage project files, meeting notes.
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in Anthropology.
- Experience: 4-5 years of professional experience working in cultural resource management and archaeology.
- Skills: Strong organization, multi-tasking, verbal communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and standard project tracking tools.
