Duties
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to promote skill acquisition and reduce problematic behaviors.
- Collect and record accurate data on client behaviors, progress, and responses during therapy sessions to inform ongoing treatment adjustments.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and other self-care routines, fostering independence.
- Support clients in educational settings by teaching communication, social, and adaptive skills aligned with their care plans.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when managing medical records, documentation, and client information.
- Collaborate with team members to develop, review, and update individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs.
