Job Description
Identifies and understands symptoms of psychiatric illness. Plans and provides activities and support groups for patients conducive to recovery. Encourages patient responsibility in social, recreational, and leisure activities in a safe, clean, controlled environment. Provides support in the care of unstable, potentially violent psychiatric patients. Also assists the health care team, serves an patient advocate, and maintains a safe, clean and orderly working environment.
Qualifications
Requires Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or related field and one year experience working in a Psychiatric Unit.
