Business Development Analyst Jobs in Kentucky: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a business development analyst in Kentucky?
Most employers in Kentucky hire business development analysts who hold a bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, economics, or a related field. There is no state-issued license or registration required for this role in Kentucky. Candidates who pair their degree with hands-on experience in sales operations, market research, or account management, along with demonstrated proficiency in CRM tools, are most competitive with Louisville- and Lexington-area employers.
Which companies hire business development analysts in Kentucky?
Employers hiring business development analysts in Kentucky right now include CVS Health, Tire Discounters, and HDR, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Kentucky's strong presence in healthcare, logistics, and manufacturing means large regional employers in those sectors consistently maintain dedicated business development teams.
Which Kentucky cities have the most business development analyst jobs?
Louisville, Lexington, and Kentucky have the most business development analyst openings in Kentucky. Louisville drives the largest share of demand because it is home to major healthcare corporations, financial services firms, and regional headquarters for logistics companies, while Lexington and Covington attract openings tied to manufacturing, insurance, and cross-border commerce with the Cincinnati metro.
Are there remote business development analyst jobs in Kentucky?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 46% of business development analyst openings tied to Kentucky are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting the desk-based and analytical nature of the role. Market research, opportunity analysis, and reporting functions are most commonly performed remotely, while client-facing pipeline development roles more often require in-person presence.
How can I get hired as a business development analyst in Kentucky with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a sales operations coordinator or market research associate role at a Louisville or Lexington employer in healthcare or logistics, then moving laterally into a business development analyst title. Humana and other large Kentucky-based healthcare companies run structured rotational and new-graduate programs that include business analytics functions. A portfolio showing a market sizing exercise or competitive analysis, combined with a Salesforce or HubSpot certification, gives candidates without prior analyst titles a measurable edge.
Where can I find and apply to business development analyst jobs in Kentucky?
