You'll join a team that pushes each other to grow, shows up for one another, and shares in each other's wins. We work hard, we have fun doing it, and we genuinely believe that a great culture isn't a perk, it's how we operate every single day.
We're looking for a motivated, coachable Business Development Associate ready to launch a career in healthcare sales. This is an entry-level role built for someone early in their career who wants hands-on training, real mentorship, and a clear path to growth. No healthcare sales experience required, just drive, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.
If you're looking for a place where your effort is recognized, your voice is heard, and your growth is invested in from day one, you've found it.
Why Work With Us?
- You are never alone - this is a true team effort where your challenges become our challenges and your wins become our wins.
- We invest in you every week through structured onboarding, ongoing clinical education, professional development, and hands-on mentorship from leadership.
- You are part of the story - your ideas matter, your voice has weight, and you help build the vision, not just execute it.
- We cultivate leaders and are committed to developing the next generation of talent within our organization - many of our senior closers started right where you are.
- We are built on integrity - no shortcuts, no pressure tactics. We win the right way, and we only want people who do the same.
- The earning potential is real and grows with you - as you build skills and close your first accounts, your income grows right alongside you.
- You'll get real exposure to the full sales cycle and the SNF/Long-Term Care industry, with support at every step while you learn the ropes.
Key Responsibilities
- Guided Sales Support: Learn and assist with outreach, prospecting, and relationship-building within the SNF and Long-Term Care sectors, working alongside experienced closers.
- Territory Learning: Help identify potential targets and learn how market expansion strategy comes together in the field.
- Clinical Value Selling: Learn to articulate the ROI of our physician-led wound care model to administrators and other stakeholders, with training and coaching provided.
- Relationship Building: Start building your own network with SNF staff, owners, and regional directors under the mentorship of senior team members.
- Team Collaboration: Share field observations, ask questions, and contribute to a team strategy that lifts everyone.
What We're Looking for
- 0–2 years of sales, customer service, or related experience (internships and new grads welcome)
- Genuine interest in healthcare, sales, or business development
- A team-first mindset with the drive to learn and grow independently
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- Comfort with a road warrior schedule (4-5 days travel per week)
- Valid US Driver's license required
- Bachelor's Degree required
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $68,000
- Bonus Potential: Earn additional bonuses as you begin closing accounts, with no ceiling as you grow into a full closing role
- Weekly Education & Leadership Development
- Direct Mentorship from Senior Sales Leaders
- Health, Dental & Vision
- 401(k) & Life Insurance
- PTO
If you're eager to learn, ready to work hard, and want a team that will invest in your growth from day one, we want to hear from you!

Business Development Manager Jobs in Cleveland: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a business development manager job in Cleveland?
Focus your search on Cleveland's strongest hiring sectors: healthcare systems, advanced manufacturing, and regional financial services firms. Jobs concentrate downtown, in Midtown's health-tech corridor, and in the suburbs along the I-271 corridor. Candidates who stand out in Cleveland's market typically bring a combination of relationship-driven sales experience, familiarity with the region's industrial or healthcare ecosystem, and a demonstrable book of contacts in the area.
Which companies hire business development managers in Cleveland?
Companies currently hiring business development managers in Cleveland include Parker Hannifin, Skilled Wound Care, and KeyBank, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Cleveland's employer mix runs from large regional health systems and Fortune 500 industrial firms to mid-size professional services companies and fast-growing tech startups anchored in the downtown innovation district.
Are there remote business development manager jobs in Cleveland?
Yes, though availability depends on the sector, since business development roles often require in-person client meetings and local relationship-building. About 67% of business development manager openings tied to Cleveland are remote or hybrid as of September 2026. Strategy, partnership development, and inside-sales-oriented business development roles tend to offer the most remote flexibility among Cleveland employers.
How can I get a business development manager job in Cleveland with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Cleveland is through a sales development representative or account executive role at one of the city's growing healthcare technology or SaaS companies in the Midtown corridor. Cleveland's regional banks, staffing firms, and logistics companies also hire entry-level business development associates who move into manager roles quickly. Building a network through organizations like BizCon and the Greater Cleveland Partnership gives candidates a measurable edge over outside applicants.
