Rula is a remote-first company. We currently hire in most U.S. states, with the exception of Hawaii.

About the Role

We are seeking a Sr. Business Operations Manager to spearhead the impactful, complex, and strategic cross-functional projects that drive Rula's continued growth. Success requires strong analytical capabilities, strategic problem-solving, and proactive stakeholder management to align teams and turn big-picture ideas into scaled and streamlined execution.

Candidates must comfortably operate at all stages of an initiative, moving fluidly through the full lifecycle of business critical projects. On any given day, this involves setting mental models, decomposing problems, making recommendations from self-served data, and establishing project requirements. End-to-end ownership is essential, and requires coordination of cross-functional partners and independent execution.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of combined experience in management consulting, Business Operations and Strategy, financial analysis, demand planning, or strategic planning roles within high-growth or mid-sized companies

• Bachelor’s degree and/or higher degree

• Intermediate analytical modeling skills (e.g. Google Sheets and Excel), and proficiency leveraging SQL to regularly write queries independently

• Demonstrated ability to convert goals into operational plans across multidisciplinary teams, including performance measurement and system and/or mechanism design

• Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), with a demonstrated ability to tailor messaging for audiences of diverse specializations and high seniority

• Strong executive presence, with experience partnering directly with senior leaders, driving alignment, and confidently facilitating challenging conversations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a startup/fast paced company environment

• Proficiency with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Hex, PowerBI, Tableau) for building business cases and facilitating deep dive investigations

• Experience leading and delivering 2+ long-term projects requiring 6+ months of continuous coordination across multidisciplinary teams

• Proven 0-to-1 execution experience, with a track record of successfully launching new business lines, products, or major strategic initiatives from concept to rollout

Compensation Range: $166,000 - $192,850
