Case Manager Jobs in Fort Worth: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a case manager job in Fort Worth?
Fort Worth's strongest hiring sits in behavioral health, hospital-based care coordination, and child welfare, with the Near Southside Medical District and downtown nonprofit corridor driving the most openings. Candidates who know Texas Medicaid managed care workflows or have experience with Tarrant County's social services network stand out. Bilingual Spanish skills open additional doors given the city's large Spanish-speaking population.
Which companies hire case managers in Fort Worth?

Fort Worth's market leans heavily toward large hospital systems, managed care organizations, and county-contracted nonprofits serving Tarrant County residents.
Are there remote case manager jobs in Fort Worth?
Yes, though it depends on the role. Utilization review, insurance-based care management, and telephonic case management are the most remote-friendly, while hospital discharge planning and field-based social work are almost always on-site. About 33% of case manager openings tied to Fort Worth are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with the remote options concentrated in managed care and insurance sector positions.
How can I get a case manager job in Fort Worth with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Fort Worth is through entry-level care coordinator or case management assistant roles at Tarrant County's behavioral health network or community health centers in the Near Southside. AmeriCorps placements with local nonprofits and support specialist positions at transitional housing programs also build the documentation and client-contact hours that Fort Worth employers look for before promoting into full case management roles.
Which industries hire the most case managers in Fort Worth?
Most case manager openings in Fort Worth sit in Healthcare & Medical Services, Non-Profit & Social Services, and Biotechnology & Pharmaceuticals, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026.
