Client Advisor Jobs in Colorado: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a client advisor in Colorado?
The most direct path is earning a relevant bachelor's degree and obtaining the securities registrations required by Colorado employers, typically the FINRA Series 7 for brokerage roles or the Series 65 for fee-based investment advisory work, both overseen by the Colorado Division of Securities. Many candidates begin in banking or financial planning associate roles at Colorado firms, then pursue licensure while building client-facing experience. Designations such as the CFP or CFA significantly improve competitiveness for senior positions.
Which companies hire client advisors in Colorado?
Companies currently hiring client advisors in Colorado include JPMorganChase, KeyBank, and Pro Auto Spa, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Colorado's concentration of financial services headquarters and regional offices in the Denver metro drives consistent year-round demand for this role across both large institutions and independent advisory firms.
Which Colorado cities have the most client advisor jobs?
Denver, Thornton, and Colorado Springs account for the largest share of client advisor openings in Colorado. Denver dominates because it hosts the headquarters and major regional offices of financial services firms, insurance carriers, and technology companies that maintain large client advisory teams, while Colorado Springs and Boulder contribute meaningfully through regional bank branches, wealth management boutiques, and growing tech-sector employers that rely on client advisors for enterprise account management.
Are there remote client advisor jobs in Colorado?
Yes, but they're less common than in purely digital roles because client advisor work often involves in-person relationship building. About 14% of client advisor openings tied to Colorado are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, with remote availability highest for technology-focused client success positions and hybrid schedules most common at financial advisory and insurance firms that still value regular client contact.
How can I get hired as a client advisor in Colorado with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry point is a financial services associate or client service representative role at one of Colorado's large retail banking or brokerage operations, such as branches run by major Denver-area institutions, where on-the-job licensing support is common. Charles Schwab's Denver operations, for example, run structured training programs for candidates without prior advisory experience. Obtaining your Series 65 registration through the Colorado Division of Securities before applying gives you a clear credential edge over unlicensed candidates for the same entry-level openings.
Where can I find and apply to client advisor jobs in Colorado?
You can find and apply to client advisor jobs in Colorado on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from Colorado employers. Search the roles available, find the ones that match your experience and target location, and apply directly to the ones that fit your background.
