Position Summary:
The Assistant/Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry position involves provision of outpatient and inpatient psychiatric care, supervision of residents, and education of students and residents in psychiatry.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Serve as an attending physician on the adult inpatient psychiatric unit and in outpatient clinic.
- Supervise residents on inpatient and outpatient psychiatry.
- Serve as on call attending in rotation with other adult attending physicians.
- Teach and supervise medical students and residents both on clinical rotations and in didactics.
Minimum Qualifications
- MD Degree.
- Completion of ACGME (Accreditation Council for Graduate Medication Education) accredited residency in Psychiatry.
- Candidate must possess or be eligible for an unrestricted Medical Licensure in the State of Illinois.
- Candidate must possess or be eligible for an unrestricted Controlled Substance license in the State of Illinois.
- Candidate must possess or be eligible for an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license.
- Candidate must be Board-eligible or Board-certified in Psychiatry.
