P&G Beauty is seeking a Scientific Communications Senior Manager responsible for leading the development and execution of brand scientific communications and Health Care Professional (HCP) engagement across priority Beauty brands. This role translates P&G’s scientific and clinical innovation into clear, credible, and impactful communications that drive trust, trial, and brand superiority, with a strong emphasis on dermatologists and other healthcare practitioners.
The role sits at the intersection of science, communications, and influence and requires close partnership with R&D, Brand teams, and Agency teams. This person will own executional leadership for scientific storytelling and HCP activation while contributing to broader category and platform strategies. This role reports to a Brand Communications leader.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Brand Science Communications
- Develop and deliver high-impact scientific narratives that clearly articulate product superiority, key claims, and ingredient credentials for P&G Beauty brands.
- Translate complex scientific and clinical data into engaging, consumer- and HCP-relevant stories across earned media, digital, social, and professional channels.
- Partner with Brand and R&D to influence external-facing assets including demos, visuals, claim decks, and scientific storytelling frameworks.
2. Dermatologist & Healthcare Practitioner Engagement
- Support the development and execution of strategies to engage dermatologists and healthcare practitioners in support of priority brand claims and innovations.
- Help manage and activate a portfolio of HCP relationships for credentialing, content creation, advisory input, and event participation.
- Facilitate scientific exchange between HCPs and internal innovation teams to inform research, product development, and claims.
3. Professional & Scientific Content Activation
- Lead or contribute to scientific and HCP-focused content across digital, social, PR, and influencer channels, ensuring accuracy, credibility, and clarity.
- Support medical- and science-led content in partnership with Professional Marketing and KOL teams, including briefing, review, and optimization.
- Ensure consistency and quality in how scientific assets are deployed across platforms and brands.
4. Conferences, Events & Ecosystem Activation
- Plan and execute P&G Beauty participation in key professional conferences and scientific forums (e.g., dermatology congresses), including content, visuals, and on-site activations.
- Support internal scientific events (e.g., symposia, lab immersions) and external activations designed to build HCP advocacy and brand credibility.
- Capture learnings and best practices from events and activations to inform future strategy and global reapplication.
5. Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration
- Serve as a key connector across Scientific Communications, Professional Marketing, Brand, R&D, PR, Influencer, and Agency partners.
- Manage workflows and projects end-to-end, ensuring scientific accuracy, strong execution, and on-time delivery.
- Contribute to capability building by sharing learnings, frameworks, and best practices across the Beauty organization.

Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications & Capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree in science, health, communications, or a related field; advanced degree (MS, PhD, PharmD, MD) is a plus but not required.
- Strong ability to translate scientific or technical content into clear, compelling communications for non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated experience engaging or working with healthcare professionals, medical experts, or scientific stakeholders.
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence across functions and with external partners.
- Proven project management skills and attention to detail.
- Comfort managing multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel for conferences and key events (including occasional weekends).
Preferred Background & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in scientific communications, medical affairs, health communications, PR, or a related role (beauty, healthcare, pharma, or CPG preferred).
- Experience working with dermatology, skin health, or beauty-related science strongly preferred.
- Experience partnering with PR, social, content, or event agencies.
- Familiarity with earned media, influencer, and digital content ecosystems
Starting Pay/Salary Range: $110,000 – $165,300
Compensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
