Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Healthcare Jobs at Alignment Healthcare Jobs
Align your credentials to value-based care
Alignment Healthcare operates a tech-enabled, capitated care model, not traditional fee-for-service insurance. Tailor your resume to show experience with care coordination, utilization management, or population health outcomes rather than general clinical or administrative work.
Target roles that match your visa category
Alignment Healthcare sponsors EB-2, EB-3, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas. Match your application to roles where your degree and occupation align cleanly with the visa category requirements DOL and USCIS use to evaluate specialty occupation and labor certification eligibility.
Flag OPT start dates early with recruiters
If you're on F-1 OPT, disclose your authorization period during the first recruiter conversation. Alignment Healthcare's onboarding timelines in a regulated insurance environment can run longer than expected, and cutting it close to your OPT expiration creates filing risk.
Understand PERM timing before accepting an offer
EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship requires PERM labor certification through DOL before USCIS can process your immigrant petition. Ask during negotiations whether the company initiates PERM concurrent with your start date, since this process alone can take a year or more.
Use Migrate Mate to find open Healthcare roles
Search Migrate Mate's job board to browse Healthcare positions at Alignment Healthcare filtered by visa type. This saves time that would otherwise go toward manually screening postings for sponsorship language across general job platforms.
Prepare documentation that reflects regulated healthcare work
Alignment Healthcare operates in a heavily regulated Medicare Advantage environment. Gather your professional licenses, any CMS or payer credentialing records, and degree transcripts early. USCIS scrutinizes specialty occupation claims in insurance-adjacent Healthcare roles, so documentation must be thorough.

Find Healthcare at Alignment Healthcare JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Alignment Healthcare sponsor H-1B visas for Healthcares?
Alignment Healthcare's recent sponsorship activity has focused on EB-2, EB-3, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas rather than H-1B. If H-1B sponsorship matters to you, confirm directly with the recruiter or hiring manager during the offer stage, since sponsorship decisions can vary by role and business unit within a healthcare organization.
Which visa types are commonly used for Healthcare roles at Alignment Healthcare?
Alignment Healthcare has sponsored F-1 OPT and F-1 CPT for recent graduates entering clinical or operational Healthcare roles, TN visas for Canadian and Mexican professionals in qualifying occupations, and employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for longer-term hires. The right category depends on your degree, nationality, and the specific role you're targeting.
What qualifications or experience does Alignment Healthcare expect for Healthcare roles?
Alignment Healthcare focuses on value-based care delivery under a Medicare Advantage model, so relevant experience typically includes care management, clinical operations, utilization review, or health plan administration. Roles often require licensure depending on function. Because the company operates at the intersection of technology and clinical care, familiarity with care coordination platforms or managed care workflows strengthens your application significantly.
How do I apply for Healthcare jobs at Alignment Healthcare?
Browse open Healthcare positions at Alignment Healthcare on Migrate Mate, where listings are filtered by visa sponsorship type so you can identify roles aligned to your work authorization. Once you find a match, apply directly through Alignment Healthcare's careers page. Be upfront about your visa status in the initial recruiter screen to avoid misalignment late in the process.
How do I plan my timeline if Alignment Healthcare is sponsoring my Green Card?
EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship through Alignment Healthcare involves three sequential steps: PERM labor certification with DOL, an I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS, and then adjustment of status or consular processing. The full process regularly exceeds two years, and priority date backlogs for certain countries extend that further. Start this conversation with HR as early as possible after your hire date.
