Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Sales Jobs at American Heart Association Jobs
Frame your pitch around mission alignment
American Heart Association evaluates Sales candidates on their ability to connect revenue goals to public health outcomes. Document specific examples of purpose-driven sales work, like healthcare partnerships or nonprofit fundraising, before your first interview.
Confirm sponsorship early in outreach
Not every Sales opening at American Heart Association triggers a sponsorship decision at the same stage. Ask the recruiter directly whether the specific role has budget approval for visa filing before investing time in later-round interviews.
Target corporate development and partner roles
American Heart Association's Sales pipeline concentrates heavily in corporate partnerships and cause-related marketing. These positions tend to require relationship management experience with major brands or healthcare companies, which strengthens an H-1B specialty occupation argument.
Prepare your credential equivalency documentation now
If your degree is from outside the U.S., get a credential evaluation from a NACES-approved agency before applying. Nonprofit employers like American Heart Association often move quickly once a candidate clears internal approval, and delays on equivalency letters slow the USCIS I-129 filing.
Understand the TN option if you qualify
Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying Sales-adjacent roles may be eligible for TN status, which has no annual lottery and can be processed at the port of entry. Confirm with your employer whether your job duties map to an approved TN category before the offer stage.
Search verified sponsoring employers on Migrate Mate
Filter Sales roles at American Heart Association by visa type using Migrate Mate, which surfaces positions where sponsorship has been confirmed. This cuts out roles that list sponsorship as possible without any demonstrated filing history behind the claim.

Find Sales at American Heart Association JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does American Heart Association sponsor H-1B visas for Sales?
Yes, American Heart Association has sponsored H-1B visas for Sales positions. Sponsorship is role-specific and depends on whether the position meets USCIS specialty occupation criteria, which generally requires a direct relationship between the job duties and a specific bachelor's-level field. Corporate partnership and cause marketing roles tend to meet this bar more readily than general sales support positions.
How do I apply for Sales jobs at American Heart Association?
Applications go through American Heart Association's careers portal. You can also browse open Sales roles filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility on Migrate Mate, which helps you identify which listings have an active sponsorship track record before you apply. Tailor your resume to highlight relationship management, revenue achievement, and any experience with healthcare or nonprofit partners.
Which visa types are commonly used for Sales roles at American Heart Association?
American Heart Association has sponsored H-1B visas for Sales roles and has also worked with candidates on F-1 OPT and CPT for eligible positions. TN status is an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals whose Sales duties align with an approved TN occupation category. The right visa depends on your nationality, degree field, and the specific job duties outlined in the offer.
What qualifications does American Heart Association expect for Sales roles?
Most Sales positions require a bachelor's degree, often in business, marketing, communications, or a health-related field. Practical experience in corporate partnerships, cause marketing, or major gift fundraising carries significant weight. For H-1B eligibility, the degree should align directly with the role's core responsibilities, not just generally relate to sales.
How do I time my job search given F-1 OPT deadlines?
If you're on F-1 OPT, you have a 60-day grace period after employment ends to secure a new role. For STEM OPT extension holders, the H-1B cap-subject filing window opens every April 1 for an October 1 start. Starting your search at American Heart Association at least four to six months before your authorization expires gives the employer enough runway to complete the DOL Labor Condition Application and USCIS I-129 filing.
