Frame Your Technical Depth Upfront
Arista sells into network-heavy enterprise environments. Before applying, document your familiarity with data center networking, cloud infrastructure, or SDN concepts so your resume signals technical sales credibility, not just pipeline management experience.
Target Arista's Named Account Teams
Arista structures sales development around specific verticals like financial services, hyperscalers, and healthcare. Identifying which team aligns with your industry background sharpens your application and signals genuine fit beyond a generic SDR submission.
Understand How TN Status Applies Here
Canadian and Mexican nationals in sales management roles may qualify for TN status under the Management Consultant category. Confirm with Arista's immigration team that your specific Sales Development Manager duties satisfy DOL's TN classification criteria before relying on this path.
Prepare Your LCA Documentation Early
Once Arista extends an offer and initiates H-1B sponsorship, your employer must file a Labor Condition Application with DOL before USCIS can process your petition. Respond quickly to any HR documentation requests to avoid missing filing windows, particularly around the April H-1B cap deadline.
Use Migrate Mate to Find Open Roles
Arista posts Sales Development Manager openings across multiple locations throughout the year. Use Migrate Mate to filter verified visa-sponsoring SDR and sales development roles at Arista so you're applying to positions confirmed for sponsorship eligibility, not guessing from a generic job board.

Find Sales Development Manager at Arista Networks JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Arista Networks sponsor H-1B visas for Sales Development Managers?
Yes, Arista Networks sponsors H-1B visas for Sales Development Managers. Arista has a demonstrated history of filing H-1B petitions for roles in its sales organization, including sales development functions. If you're on F-1 OPT, the typical path involves Arista filing an H-1B cap-subject petition during the April registration window, with employment starting October 1 if selected.
How do I apply for Sales Development Manager jobs at Arista Networks?
Apply directly through Arista's careers page or through Migrate Mate, which lists verified visa-sponsoring Sales Development Manager openings at Arista. Before applying, tailor your application to Arista's enterprise networking context and be specific about your technical sales background. Arista's recruiting process typically includes a recruiter screen, hiring manager interview, and a final-round panel focused on sales methodology and market knowledge.
Which visa types does Arista Networks commonly use for Sales Development Manager roles?
Arista sponsors H-1B visas most commonly for Sales Development Managers, along with Green Card pathways through EB-2 and EB-3 for longer-tenured employees. F-1 OPT and CPT are also supported for students entering the role. Canadian and Mexican nationals may qualify for TN status depending on the specific job duties, and Arista's immigration team can advise on which classification fits your situation.
What qualifications does Arista Networks expect for a sponsored Sales Development Manager?
Arista typically expects a bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field for Sales Development Manager roles, along with experience in enterprise technology sales or sales development. Familiarity with networking concepts, cloud infrastructure, or Arista's product portfolio strengthens your candidacy significantly. USCIS requires that H-1B positions constitute a specialty occupation, so your degree field should have a clear connection to the role's core responsibilities.
How long does the H-1B sponsorship process take if Arista Networks offers me a Sales Development Manager role?
If you're subject to the H-1B cap, Arista must register you in March for the lottery, with petitions filed in April and employment beginning October 1 at the earliest. If you're transferring an existing H-1B from another employer, Arista can file a transfer petition and you can start work once USCIS issues a receipt notice, which typically takes two to four weeks.
