Description
Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: ARWR) is a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company that develops medicines that treat intractable diseases by silencing the genes that cause them. Using a broad portfolio of RNA chemistries and efficient modes of delivery, Arrowhead therapies trigger the RNA interference mechanism to induce rapid, deep, and durable knockdown of target genes. RNA interference, or RNAi, is a mechanism present in living cells that inhibits the expression of a specific gene, thereby affecting the production of a specific protein. Arrowhead’s RNAi-based therapeutics leverage this natural pathway of gene silencing. Arrowhead is focused on developing innovative drugs for diseases with a genetic basis, typically characterized by the overproduction of one or more proteins that are involved with disease. The depth and versatility of our RNAi technologies enables us to potentially address conditions in virtually any therapeutic area and pursue disease targets that are not otherwise addressable by small molecules and biologics. Arrowhead is leading the field in bringing the promise of RNAi to address diseases outside of the liver, and our clinical pipeline includes disease targets in the liver and lung with a promising pipeline of preclinical candidates. Arrowhead’s corporate headquarters is in Pasadena, CA with research and development teams in Madison, WI and San Diego, CA. Our employees are nimble, science-driven innovators who are collaborating to bring new therapies to patients in need.

Frame your biotech experience for Customer Success
Arrowhead prioritizes candidates who can translate complex RNA interference science into clear value for clinical and commercial partners. Document any experience managing accounts in pharma, biotech, or medical devices before you apply, since hiring managers screen for domain fluency early.
Target roles aligned with your visa category
Arrowhead sponsors TN, F-1 OPT, and employment-based Green Card pathways, but not every open Customer Success role is filed under the same category. Search Migrate Mate to filter open positions by the visa type that matches your current status before reaching out.
Gather degree and credential documents early
For EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship, PERM requires your employer to verify your credentials meet the minimum stated requirements. Have your official transcripts, any foreign degree evaluations, and professional certifications ready before the offer stage so PERM preparation does not stall.
Negotiate sponsorship terms before signing
Ask your Arrowhead recruiter explicitly whether the role is eligible for Green Card sponsorship and at what stage they initiate PERM filing. Waiting until after you sign to clarify the sponsorship timeline can leave you in limbo if your OPT or TN expires mid-process.
Use your OPT period strategically at Arrowhead
F-1 OPT gives you up to 12 months of work authorization, with a 24-month STEM extension if your degree qualifies. If Arrowhead hires you on OPT, confirm your start date leaves enough time for H-1B cap registration in the following April cycle before your OPT window closes.
Align your TN documentation to the role description
TN status for Customer Success at a pharmaceutical company is most defensible when your offer letter specifies a qualifying TN occupation such as Scientific Technician or Management Consultant. Request a detailed offer letter from Arrowhead that mirrors the DOL occupational description before you cross the border.

Does Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals sponsor H-1B visas for Customer Success?
Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals has not appeared as a consistent H-1B filer for Customer Success roles based on available DOL disclosure data. The company's documented sponsorship activity for this function skews toward employment-based Green Card pathways and F-1 OPT. If H-1B sponsorship is a requirement for your situation, confirm explicitly with the recruiter before advancing through the interview process.
How do I apply for Customer Success jobs at Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals?
Applications go through Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals' careers portal, where open Customer Success roles are listed with job descriptions and sponsorship eligibility notes. You can also browse and filter current openings by visa type on Migrate Mate, which surfaces Arrowhead positions alongside sponsorship history for the function. Tailor your resume to reflect familiarity with RNA-targeted therapeutics or similar biologic pipelines.
Which visa types are commonly used for Customer Success roles at Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals?
Arrowhead has sponsored international employees in Customer Success through F-1 OPT, TN, and employment-based Green Card categories including EB-2 and EB-3. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional occupations. F-1 OPT is typically the entry point for recent graduates, with Green Card sponsorship becoming available after a period of demonstrated performance in the role.
What qualifications does Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals expect for Customer Success roles?
Arrowhead's Customer Success openings typically require a bachelor's degree in a life sciences, pharmacy, or business-related field, combined with experience in account management or clinical support within the pharmaceutical or biotech sector. Roles supporting commercial launch programs may also require familiarity with specialty pharmacy channels, patient services workflows, or managed care contracting, depending on the specific product area.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Customer Success hire at Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals?
Timeline depends heavily on visa category. F-1 OPT authorization is already in place when you start, requiring no employer petition. TN status can be obtained at the border or port of entry in a single day with the right documentation. Employment-based Green Card sponsorship through PERM typically spans 18 to 36 months from initiation, and USCIS processing times for the underlying I-140 petition add additional time beyond that.
