Description
Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: ARWR) is a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company that develops medicines that treat intractable diseases by silencing the genes that cause them. Using a broad portfolio of RNA chemistries and efficient modes of delivery, Arrowhead therapies trigger the RNA interference mechanism to induce rapid, deep, and durable knockdown of target genes. RNA interference, or RNAi, is a mechanism present in living cells that inhibits the expression of a specific gene, thereby affecting the production of a specific protein. Arrowhead’s RNAi-based therapeutics leverage this natural pathway of gene silencing. Arrowhead is focused on developing innovative drugs for diseases with a genetic basis, typically characterized by the overproduction of one or more proteins that are involved with disease. The depth and versatility of our RNAi technologies enables us to potentially address conditions in virtually any therapeutic area and pursue disease targets that are not otherwise addressable by small molecules and biologics. Arrowhead is leading the field in bringing the promise of RNAi to address diseases outside of the liver, and our clinical pipeline includes disease targets in the liver and lung with a promising pipeline of preclinical candidates. Arrowhead’s corporate headquarters is in Pasadena, CA with research and development teams in Madison, WI and San Diego, CA. Our employees are nimble, science-driven innovators who are collaborating to bring new therapies to patients in need.

Frame Your Biotech BD Experience Precisely
Specialty occupation approval for a Partnerships Manager role requires demonstrating that a specific degree field is standard for the position. Document your academic credentials in business development, life sciences, or a related field before engaging recruiters at Arrowhead.
Target Arrowhead's Pipeline-Stage Hiring Cycles
Arrowhead tends to ramp up external partnerships activity as clinical programs advance toward Phase 2 and 3. Tracking their pipeline announcements gives you a signal for when Partnerships Manager openings are most likely to emerge and sponsorship conversations are most productive.
Confirm TN Eligibility Before Applying
If you hold Canadian or Mexican citizenship, a TN visa can get you started without USCIS petition timelines. Verify that your job offer letter from Arrowhead explicitly describes duties matching a qualifying TN professional category such as Scientific Technician or Management Consultant.
Use Migrate Mate to Identify Active Openings
Arrowhead posts Partnerships Manager roles across multiple channels and openings can close quickly. Use Migrate Mate to filter for active visa-sponsored positions at Arrowhead so you apply during the window when sponsorship is actively on the table.
Align Your Offer Letter to LCA Requirements
Once Arrowhead extends an offer, confirm the job title and duties in writing before your employer files the Labor Condition Application with DOL. Vague or inconsistent role descriptions between your offer and the LCA filing are a common cause of downstream RFEs.
Build a Green Card Conversation Into Negotiations
For roles that lead to EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship, the PERM labor certification process can take a year or more before USCIS even begins adjudicating. Raise the timeline for permanent residency sponsorship during the offer stage rather than after you've already started.

Find Partnerships Manager at Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals sponsor H-1B visas for Partnerships Managers?
Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals has sponsored H-1B visas for business-facing roles, and Partnerships Manager positions can qualify as specialty occupations when the role requires a degree in a relevant field such as life sciences, business development, or pharmaceutical sciences. Your offer letter and employer's H-1B petition must clearly establish that degree-level expertise is a standard requirement for the position, not a preference.
How do I apply for Partnerships Manager jobs at Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals?
Applications go through Arrowhead's careers portal, but roles fill quickly and sponsorship availability isn't always stated upfront. Migrate Mate surfaces active Partnerships Manager openings at Arrowhead that are open to visa sponsorship, so you can apply with confidence rather than discovering sponsorship restrictions late in the process. Prepare a resume that speaks to biotech licensing, collaboration agreements, or alliance management.
Which visa types are commonly used for Partnerships Manager roles at Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals?
H-1B is the most common nonimmigrant visa for this type of role, but Arrowhead also sponsors F-1 OPT and CPT for recent graduates entering partnership or business development functions. Canadian and Mexican nationals may qualify for TN status. For longer-term pathways, Arrowhead has sponsored EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards for employees in sustained roles, typically after a period of H-1B employment.
What qualifications does Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals expect for a Partnerships Manager?
Arrowhead's Partnerships Manager roles typically require a background in life sciences or a related technical field combined with demonstrated experience in business development, licensing, or strategic alliances within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. Candidates who have worked on collaboration agreements, term sheets, or due diligence processes for clinical-stage assets are competitive. An advanced degree strengthens both your candidacy and the specialty occupation basis for H-1B sponsorship.
How do I manage visa timing when pursuing a Partnerships Manager role at Arrowhead?
If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your OPT expiration date before accepting an offer. H-1B cap-subject petitions have an October 1 start date, which may create a gap if your OPT expires before then. USCIS allows cap-gap protection for F-1 students whose OPT runs through the H-1B lottery period, so verify your I-20 and EAD status carefully. TN or a cap-exempt H-1B may bridge the gap in some cases.
