Frame your resume around dealership operations metrics
Asbury evaluates Operations candidates on measurable outcomes like throughput efficiency, service bay utilization, and parts inventory accuracy. Translate your experience into dealership-relevant KPIs so hiring managers immediately see a fit for their store-level operations structure.
Target multi-franchise dealership groups over single stores
Asbury operates dozens of franchised dealerships across multiple states, which means Operations roles often support regional or group-level functions. These larger-scope positions are more likely to justify the PERM labor certification process required for EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship.
Understand how PERM timelines interact with job offers
EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship through PERM typically takes 12 to 24 months from filing to certification. Raise this timeline early in offer negotiations so both you and the employer can align on start dates and set realistic expectations before the process begins.
Use Migrate Mate to filter verified Operations openings
Not every Operations listing at Asbury will explicitly mention sponsorship. Browse verified sponsorship-eligible roles using Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for employers with a confirmed EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship history, saving you time on roles that won't move forward.
Clarify whether the role is store-level or corporate operations
Asbury posts both dealership-floor Operations roles and corporate process or vendor management positions. Corporate roles in their support centers tend to have more formalized HR processes, which can make initiating a sponsorship conversation smoother than approaching a individual store manager.
Gather DOL-compliant credentials before the PERM audit stage
PERM requires your employer to document that no qualified U.S. worker was displaced. Prepare certified transcripts, credential evaluations for any foreign degrees, and reference letters from prior supervisors so DOL audit requests don't stall your certification at a critical stage.

Find Operations at Asbury Automotive Group JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Asbury Automotive Group sponsor H-1B visas for Operations roles?
Asbury Automotive Group's sponsorship activity for Operations roles has centered on permanent residency pathways like EB-2 and EB-3 rather than H-1B. H-1B sponsorship requires the role to qualify as a specialty occupation, which can be harder to establish for many dealership operations positions. If you're pursuing an H-1B, confirm with the hiring team whether your specific role meets USCIS specialty occupation criteria before advancing.
How do I apply for Operations jobs at Asbury Automotive Group?
You can find current Operations openings through Asbury's careers portal or through Migrate Mate, which filters for roles where visa sponsorship has been confirmed. When applying, tailor your materials to the specific dealership group or support function listed, since Asbury's Operations roles range from individual store service coordination to group-level process management, and each has different qualifications.
Which visa types are commonly used for Operations roles at Asbury Automotive Group?
Asbury Automotive Group has sponsored Operations professionals through employer-sponsored immigrant visa categories, specifically EB-2 for roles requiring advanced degrees or exceptional ability, and EB-3 for skilled worker positions. These permanent residency pathways involve a PERM labor certification filed with the DOL, followed by an I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS. This process is most common for Operations roles with specialized technical or process management responsibilities.
What qualifications does Asbury Automotive Group expect for sponsored Operations roles?
Asbury's Operations roles typically require experience in automotive service operations, dealership workflow management, parts and inventory coordination, or multi-site process oversight. For sponsored positions, the role must meet DOL's definition of a skilled occupation under PERM standards. Candidates with demonstrated experience in high-volume automotive retail environments and familiarity with dealer management systems tend to be most competitive.
How long does the sponsorship process take for an Operations role at Asbury Automotive Group?
For EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship, the PERM labor certification stage alone can take six to 18 months depending on DOL processing queues and whether the application is audited. After PERM certification, USCIS adjudicates the I-140 petition, which adds additional months. For applicants born in India or China, priority date backlogs can extend the overall timeline significantly beyond the initial filing stages.
