Certify Your Healthcare Administrative Credentials Early
DaVita often prioritizes candidates with formal medical administrative credentials or CMAA certification. Getting these verified and translated before you apply removes a common bottleneck that delays offer letters and pushes back your sponsorship timeline.
Target DaVita Centers With High Patient Volume
High-volume dialysis centers face the most acute staffing pressure and are more likely to move through the sponsorship process quickly. Search for open Patient Service Coordinator roles in markets like Texas, California, and Florida where DaVita operates dense clinic networks.
Clarify OPT or CPT Authorization Before Your First Interview
If you're on F-1 status, DaVita's HR teams at individual dialysis centers may not immediately recognize OPT as valid work authorization. Bring your EAD card details and confirm your authorization window covers at least the standard onboarding period to avoid last-minute delays.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter DaVita Roles by Sponsorship Type
Not every Patient Service Coordinator posting at DaVita specifies which visa categories the position supports. Migrate Mate surfaces these roles filtered by sponsorship eligibility, so you can target the specific openings where H-1B or TN sponsorship has been confirmed.
Understand How DaVita Files LCAs for Coordinator Roles
Patient Service Coordinators fall under administrative support SOC codes with specific DOL prevailing wage tiers. Before your offer negotiation, check the DOL FLAG system to understand the wage floor for your metro area so your offered salary clears the LCA certification threshold without revision.
Request a Written Sponsorship Commitment Before Resigning
DaVita's sponsorship decisions for Patient Service Coordinators sometimes involve regional HR approval, not just the hiring manager. Get written confirmation that USCIS petition filing is budgeted and scheduled before giving notice at any current employer, especially if you're inside a 60-day grace period.

Find Patient Service Coordinator at DaVita JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does DaVita sponsor H-1B visas for Patient Service Coordinators?
Yes, DaVita sponsors H-1B visas for Patient Service Coordinator roles, though approval depends on the specific position meeting USCIS specialty occupation criteria. These roles typically involve enough specialized administrative and clinical coordination responsibility to qualify. Sponsorship is more consistent at higher-volume centers where staffing needs are hardest to fill with local candidates alone.
How do I apply for Patient Service Coordinator jobs at DaVita?
Apply directly through DaVita's careers portal, where Patient Service Coordinator openings are listed by region and facility. You can also browse verified sponsorship-eligible openings through Migrate Mate, which filters DaVita roles by visa type so you only apply to positions where sponsorship is a confirmed option. Tailor your resume to highlight patient scheduling, EMR system experience, and any dialysis or nephrology background.
Which visa types does DaVita commonly use for Patient Service Coordinator sponsorship?
DaVita sponsors H-1B and employment-based Green Card pathways (EB-2 and EB-3) for Patient Service Coordinators, along with F-1 OPT and CPT for eligible graduates. TN visas are also used for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying administrative roles. The right category depends on your nationality, degree field, and how your job duties map to USCIS and DOL classification criteria.
What qualifications does DaVita expect for a Patient Service Coordinator role?
DaVita typically looks for candidates with a high school diploma at minimum, though an associate's or bachelor's degree in health administration or a related field strengthens your application significantly. Practical experience with patient scheduling software, insurance verification, and medical billing is commonly expected. Fluency in a second language is a practical advantage in many of the diverse patient populations DaVita serves.
How do I know if a Patient Service Coordinator role at DaVita will include sponsorship before I apply?
DaVita's job postings don't always specify sponsorship availability upfront, which makes it harder to filter quickly on their careers site. The most reliable approach is to ask directly during the recruiter screening call and request written confirmation before advancing through interviews. Checking DOL LCA disclosure data for DaVita's recent filings under relevant SOC codes can also confirm whether the role category has historically supported sponsorship.
