Align your degree to Genpact's SOC codes
Genpact files LCAs under specific Standard Occupational Classification codes tied to consulting, finance, and analytics roles. Pull the O*NET profile for your target role and confirm your degree field maps directly to the listed educational requirements before applying.
Target Genpact's transformation practice areas
Genpact's highest E-3 demand sits in finance and accounting transformation, supply chain analytics, and risk consulting. Frame your resume around quantifiable process improvements and client-facing delivery, not just technical skills, to match how these teams hire.
Request LCA filing before your offer letter is finalized
Genpact's HR and immigration teams typically coordinate LCA filing through DOL once an offer is verbally extended. Ask your recruiter early whether the LCA process has started so your consulate appointment timeline isn't delayed by internal paperwork lag.
Verify your prevailing wage tier with OFLC Wage Search
E-3 requires your offered salary to meet the DOL prevailing wage for your role and location. Run the OFLC Wage Search for your specific SOC code and Genpact office city before salary negotiations so you understand the floor the employer must meet.
Use Migrate Mate to find Genpact's verified E-3 filing history
Migrate Mate surfaces employer Labor Condition Application data by role and location, so you can see which Genpact positions have active E-3 filings and which office locations have historically supported sponsorship before you apply.
Prepare for dual-intent scrutiny at the consulate
The E-3 is a nonimmigrant visa, so consulate officers will probe your intent to return to Australia. If Genpact is on a known sponsor list and your role is long-term, prepare clear, specific ties to Australia to address any nonimmigrant intent questions directly.
Genpact E-3 Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Genpact sponsor E-3 visas?
Yes, Genpact sponsors E-3 visas for Australian nationals in qualifying specialty occupation roles. Sponsorship is most common in consulting, finance transformation, data analytics, and digital operations. Because E-3 requires a role that meets the specialty occupation standard, Genpact typically sponsors professional and analyst-level positions rather than generalist or support roles.
Which Genpact departments typically offer E-3 sponsorship?
E-3 sponsorship at Genpact is most frequently associated with its finance and accounting services, risk and compliance, supply chain, and digital transformation practices. Roles with titles like financial analyst, business process consultant, data analyst, and risk consultant tend to align most cleanly with the specialty occupation requirement USCIS applies to E-3 petitions.
How do I start the E-3 application process at Genpact?
Once Genpact extends a verbal offer, their HR team works with an immigration provider to file the Labor Condition Application with DOL. After LCA certification, you complete the DS-160, pay the MRV fee, and schedule your consulate interview in Australia. USCIS is not directly involved in the E-3 consular route, which keeps the process faster than many employer-sponsored work visas.
How long does E-3 sponsorship take at Genpact?
The DOL typically certifies an LCA within seven business days. After that, consulate appointment availability in Sydney, Melbourne, or Perth drives most of the timeline variance. From LCA filing to visa stamp, most applicants complete the process in four to eight weeks, though peak appointment periods can extend that window.
How do I find open E-3 roles at Genpact?
Migrate Mate lists Genpact positions filtered by employers with verified E-3 LCA filing history, so you can focus your search on roles where sponsorship is already established. Within Genpact's own careers portal, filtering by practice area and looking for roles that specify a relevant bachelor's degree as a requirement, rather than preferred, is the most reliable indicator of E-3 eligibility.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 sponsorship at Genpact?
E-3 employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, determined when they file a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, ensuring Australian hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
