Align your degree to title insurance roles
E-3 approval depends on your degree directly supporting a specialty occupation. For Stewart Title, that means finance, business, law, or risk management credentials tied to roles like underwriter or compliance analyst. A mismatch between your field and the job title is a common rejection trigger.
Request LCA filing before your start date
Stewart Title must file a Labor Condition Application with DOL before you can apply at the consulate. Confirm your hiring manager has looped in HR and legal early, because LCA certification typically takes seven business days and delays here push your entire timeline.
Benchmark your salary against OFLC Wage Search data
Before accepting an offer, look up the prevailing wage for your role and location using the OFLC Wage Search. Stewart Title's insurance roles vary by seniority and metro area, and your offered salary must meet or exceed the DOL wage level to satisfy LCA requirements.
Use Migrate Mate to verify Stewart Title's E-3 filing history
Search Stewart Title Guaranty Company on Migrate Mate to see which job titles and locations have historically received E-3 LCA certification. This tells you which departments actually move candidates through the process, so you can target your application to the right team.
Prepare for specialty occupation scrutiny in insurance
Consular officers sometimes question whether insurance roles qualify as specialty occupations. Pull the O*NET profile for your specific job title and confirm it lists a bachelor's degree as the standard entry requirement. Bring that documentation to your interview alongside your degree transcripts.
Clarify renewal responsibility before signing your offer
E-3 visas are employer-tied and require renewal every two years. Ask Stewart Title's HR team directly whether they cover renewal filing costs and who manages the process internally, so you're not left coordinating a DOL LCA and consulate appointment on your own mid-employment.
Stewart Title Guaranty E-3 Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Stewart Title Guaranty Company sponsor E-3 visas?
Yes, Stewart Title Guaranty Company has sponsored E-3 visas for Australian nationals in specialty occupation roles within the title insurance and financial services space. Sponsorship is not guaranteed for every open position, so confirm directly with the recruiter or HR contact that the specific role you're applying for is E-3 eligible before advancing through the interview process.
Which roles at Stewart Title Guaranty Company typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship?
E-3 sponsorship at Stewart Title tends to apply to roles requiring a bachelor's degree in a directly related field, such as underwriters, compliance analysts, financial analysts, and title counsel positions. Operational or administrative roles that don't require a degree-specific skill set are less likely to meet the specialty occupation standard USCIS applies to E-3 petitions.
How do I start the E-3 application process at Stewart Title Guaranty Company?
Once you have a written job offer, Stewart Title's legal or HR team files a Labor Condition Application with DOL. After LCA certification, you apply directly at the U.S. consulate in Australia with your LCA, offer letter, and degree credentials. You can search Stewart Title's E-3 filing history on Migrate Mate to understand which roles and locations have moved through this process before.
How long does E-3 visa processing take when sponsored by Stewart Title Guaranty Company?
The timeline has two main phases. DOL LCA certification typically takes around seven business days. After that, consulate appointment availability in Australia drives most of the variance, often ranging from a few weeks to over a month depending on location and season. Stewart Title's internal HR process for initiating the LCA adds additional time, so start the conversation with your hiring contact early.
What should I bring to my E-3 visa interview for a Stewart Title Guaranty Company role?
Bring your certified LCA, a signed offer letter on company letterhead, your degree transcripts and diploma, and your DS-160 confirmation page. For insurance and financial roles, also carry documentation linking your degree field to the job description, such as course transcripts or professional credentials. Consular officers reviewing specialty occupation claims in insurance sometimes ask follow-up questions about how your education directly qualifies you for the role.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 sponsorship at Stewart Title Guaranty Company?
E-3 employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, determined when they file a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, ensuring Australian hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
