THE ROLE
We are looking for a Content Creator who is passionate about all things social media. The ideal candidate will be proactive, strategic, socially-savvy, and detail-oriented. You should be able to react quickly in a fast-paced environment and be truly passionate about social media, what trends are shaping it, what best practice looks like, and how brands and fans are changing the landscape. A deep understanding of internet and pop culture, especially as it relates to Gen Z, is essential.
WE ARE
A creative agency powered by social connections. That means we thrive on what’s trending and creating campaigns that get people buzzing. We call it “Ideas Worth Talking About,” and we've proud to have played a part in some of the most culturally relevant campaigns of the decade for brands like McDonald’s, Adidas, Universal Pictures, and YouTube.
WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT HERE
- We like to laugh, we live for celeb gossip and we’re great on AUX.
- Our passport program lets you explore and work from one of our 18 other offices worldwide, including Paris, Singapore, Madrid, Dubai, London and more!
- You best believe we know how to celebrate our wins. And our losses (it’s how we learn).
- From carbon offsets to community kitchens, we’re passionate about making a difference.
- Did we say snacks? Because we have great snacks. (Shoutout to Sheila who keeps the kitchen stocked.)
YOU ARE
- A person who thrives in a fast-paced environment, responding quickly and proactively.
- Not interested in just following trends – you want to create them.
- A self-starter, who’ll take ideas from concept to execution, navigating feedback like a pro.
- Comfortable being featured in content and appearing on camera.
Traditional agency experience is not required, but it’s a plus. What matters is your deep understanding of what resonates with social audiences. This role is energetic, innovative and forward-thinking. Alongside engaging with communities, you’ll guide brands by staying ahead of social trends and cultural moments. In return, you’ll join a global agency dedicated to generating buzz-worthy ideas for some of the world’s leading brands.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Daily content creation for brand social channels (across platforms like Instagram and TikTok)
- Ideating and creating concepts, franchises, and templates
- Inform and create content that speaks to key moments in culture and ensures optimal execution of platform features and best practices
- Collaborating with strategy and creative teams to create planned content and rapid response content as news, cultural moments, and trends emerge across social media platforms
- Supporting internal teams with ongoing social listening and insights
- Have a thorough understanding of the brand compass and the social strategy and how it plays out in your day-to-day role
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE
- Serial social media user who can demonstrate a deep understanding of key platforms
- Deep understanding of internet and pop culture, especially as it relates to reaching Gen Z
- Experience with hands-on content creation personally or for a brand (preferred)
- Experience with basic and/or in-app editing tools (e.g., CapCut)
- Ability to efficiently turn a concept into a produced piece of content
- Deep understanding of content formats, real-time trends, and content creation best practices across core social media channels
- Ability to track culture and trends in real-time while balancing key tasks and deliverables
- Strong conceptual mind

Frame your role as a specialty occupation
E-3 approval hinges on proving your position requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field. For marketing and advertising roles, align your degree in communications, marketing, or a related discipline directly to the job duties We Are Very Social outlines in the offer letter.
Research prevailing wage before salary talks
Before your offer is finalized, use the OFLC Wage Search to look up the prevailing wage for your specific role and location. We Are Very Social's HR team will need to match or exceed this figure on the Labor Condition Application, so knowing it early avoids last-minute renegotiations.
Verify your O*NET occupation code with the hiring manager
The occupation code listed on your LCA determines how your specialty occupation is classified. Ask We Are Very Social's HR contact which O*NET code they plan to use for your role, then cross-check that it aligns with your degree field to avoid a misclassification that could complicate consular review.
Confirm LCA certification before scheduling your consulate appointment
DOL must certify the Labor Condition Application before you can attend your visa interview. At advertising agencies like We Are Very Social, HR often manages multiple filings at once, so follow up directly to confirm LCA certification status before booking your appointment through the consulate scheduling portal.
Use Migrate Mate to prepare your filing documents
Once We Are Very Social extends a formal offer, gather your degree transcripts, job offer letter, and passport early. Migrate Mate can handle the E-3 filing documentation so your paperwork is complete and consistent before your consulate interview date, reducing back-and-forth with HR.
Tailor your degree narrative for account or strategy roles
Consular officers sometimes scrutinize whether marketing roles genuinely require a specific degree. If your role at We Are Very Social spans account management and creative strategy, document how your communications or marketing degree directly underpins the analytical and client-facing duties listed in your job description.
We Are Social E-3 Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does We Are Very Social sponsor E-3 visas?
Yes, We Are Very Social has sponsored E-3 visas for qualified Australian professionals. The agency operates across marketing, advertising, and social media strategy, and roles in those disciplines can meet the specialty occupation standard the E-3 requires when supported by a relevant degree and a properly filed Labor Condition Application.
Which roles or departments at We Are Very Social typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship?
Roles in account management, social strategy, content, and campaign planning are the most common fits for E-3 sponsorship at agencies like We Are Very Social. These positions generally require a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, which satisfies USCIS specialty occupation criteria when documented correctly.
How do I start the E-3 application process once We Are Very Social offers me a role?
After receiving a written job offer, We Are Very Social's HR team files a Labor Condition Application with DOL. Once DOL certifies it, you attend a consulate interview in Australia with your LCA, offer letter, degree credentials, and DS-160 form. Migrate Mate can help you prepare and organize those documents before your appointment.
How long does the E-3 process take when sponsored by We Are Very Social?
The DOL typically certifies the Labor Condition Application within seven business days. Consulate appointment availability then drives the overall timeline, which varies by location and season. Most applicants move from signed offer to visa stamp within four to eight weeks, though peak periods at Australian consulates can extend that window.
How do I strengthen my E-3 application for a marketing or advertising role at We Are Very Social?
Make sure your degree transcripts clearly show a field directly related to your role, such as marketing, communications, or advertising. Ask We Are Very Social's HR to confirm the job description specifies a degree requirement rather than a preference. A precise match between your credentials and the listed duties is what consular officers look for when evaluating specialty occupation claims.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 sponsorship at We Are Very Social?
E-3 employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, determined when they file a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, ensuring Australian hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
