Align your credentials to specialty occupation standards
H-1B eligibility for a Partnerships Manager role requires demonstrating that the position demands a bachelor's degree in a specific field like finance, business, or international relations. Document how your degree directly maps to the partnership responsibilities in the job posting.
Research East West Bank's LCA filings before applying
DOL Labor Condition Application disclosures are public record and show the exact job titles and prevailing wage levels East West Bank has filed for. Cross-referencing these against open Partnerships Manager listings tells you which roles have real sponsorship precedent.
Target East West Bank's commercial banking divisions strategically
Partnerships Manager openings at East West Bank cluster around their corporate and commercial banking segments, particularly roles that bridge U.S. and Asia-Pacific markets. Positioning your background in cross-border financial relationships or bilingual client development directly addresses where the bank hires most actively.
Use Migrate Mate to filter for open Partnerships Manager roles
Verified sponsorship history matters more than a company's general reputation for hiring. Use Migrate Mate to browse East West Bank's current Partnerships Manager openings filtered by visa type, so you apply only where sponsorship is confirmed rather than assumed.
Clarify OPT cap-gap coverage before your start date
If you're on F-1 OPT and your authorization expires before USCIS adjudicates an H-1B petition, the cap-gap rule extends your status automatically through September 30. Confirm with East West Bank's HR team that your intended start date accounts for this window.
Negotiate I-129 filing timing during the offer stage
Ask the recruiter early whether East West Bank files H-1B petitions with premium processing. For a Partnerships Manager role with a firm start date tied to a client portfolio or business cycle, a 15-business-day USCIS adjudication timeline versus several months can determine whether you can start on schedule.
