Frame your analytics work in commercial outcomes
Google's Business Development Analyst hiring process weights candidates who can quantify partnership impact, market expansion, or revenue influence. Before applying, restructure your resume around measurable business results, not just tools or methodologies used.
Identify which Google team aligns with your background
Google hires Business Development Analysts across distinct verticals including Cloud, Ads, and Platforms. Targeting the right sub-team improves your fit score and signals to recruiters that you understand where your skill set creates the most value.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Business Development Analyst roles
Not every Business Development Analyst posting at Google is filed under the same job code, which makes manual filtering inconsistent. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsorship-eligible openings so you can apply to roles where sponsorship is actually on the table.
Request LCA details before negotiating your offer package
Once Google extends an offer, your employer files a Labor Condition Application with the DOL certifying your prevailing wage. Knowing the wage level tied to your role and location helps you negotiate within the LCA's documented range without creating compliance issues.
Prepare your specialty occupation documentation early
Business Development Analyst roles at Google typically require a degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field. Gather official transcripts and credential evaluations before the offer stage so your I-129 petition package is ready without delays.

Find Business Development Analyst at Google JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Google sponsor H-1B visas for Business Development Analysts?
Yes, Google sponsors H-1B visas for Business Development Analyst roles. Google participates in the annual H-1B cap lottery, with registration opening each March for an October 1 start date. If you're already in H-1B status with another employer, Google can file an H-1B transfer without waiting for the next lottery cycle.
Which visa types does Google commonly use for Business Development Analyst roles?
Google sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 visas for Business Development Analyst positions. The H-1B is the most widely available and applies regardless of nationality. The H-1B1 is available to citizens of Singapore and Chile, while the E-3 is exclusive to Australian citizens. All three require the role to qualify as a specialty occupation.
How do I apply for Business Development Analyst jobs at Google?
Applications go through Google's careers portal at careers.google.com. Search for Business Development Analyst openings and filter by location. Each posting lists the team and function, so read the responsibilities carefully before applying. Tailoring your application to the specific vertical, such as Google Cloud or Google Ads, improves your chances of moving past the initial screening stage. Migrate Mate also lists Google's sponsorship-eligible openings in one place.
What qualifications does Google expect for a Business Development Analyst role?
Google generally looks for a bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, or a quantitative field for Business Development Analyst positions. Practical experience with data analysis, market research, or partnership development carries significant weight. Familiarity with SQL or data visualization tools is increasingly expected, and experience in a technology or platform business environment is a strong differentiator.
How do I manage my visa timeline while interviewing at Google?
If you're on OPT, confirm your remaining work authorization and whether your STEM OPT extension is in place before accepting an offer. Google's legal team handles H-1B filings, but the cap lottery in March is a hard deadline. If you miss the registration window, you'll need to plan for either a cap-exempt filing through a qualifying organization or wait for the following year.
