Job Roles at BillionToOne
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in BillionToOne Green Card Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target technical and scientific roles first
Green Card sponsorship at BillionToOne is most likely for roles requiring specialized expertise in genomics, molecular biology, software engineering, or medical device development. These positions are hardest to fill domestically, making sponsorship more defensible under PERM labor market requirements.
Understand the PERM process before your interview
BillionToOne's Green Card path runs through PERM labor certification, where the company must demonstrate no qualified U.S. workers are available. Knowing this process shows hiring managers you're a serious candidate who understands the commitment involved.
Start the Green Card conversation at the offer stage
Don't wait until you're on the job to raise Green Card sponsorship. Negotiating sponsorship commitment during the offer process, while the company is most motivated to secure you, gives you the clearest path to a formal agreement before you start.
Connect your credentials to a hard-to-fill role
BillionToOne operates in a specialized diagnostics niche within Medical Devices. Candidates with credentials in areas like next-generation sequencing, CLIA-regulated lab workflows, or rare disease diagnostics are stronger Green Card sponsorship candidates because their skills are genuinely scarce in the U.S. labor market.
Use Migrate Mate to verify current sponsorship activity
BillionToOne's sponsorship posture can shift as the company grows. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and confirm BillionToOne is actively filing before you invest time in the application process.
Plan for a multi-year timeline
Green Card sponsorship at any Medical Devices company involves PERM filing, I-140 petition, and potentially years of priority date waiting depending on your country of birth. Aligning your employment contract and visa status maintenance with this timeline is essential from day one.

Does BillionToOne sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, BillionToOne does sponsor Green Cards for qualifying employees. Sponsorship is more selective than at large enterprise employers, so it tends to be concentrated in roles where the company has a genuine need for specialized talent it cannot easily source from the domestic workforce. Confirming sponsorship intent during the hiring process is the recommended approach.
Which roles at BillionToOne are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Roles in genomics research, molecular diagnostics, bioinformatics, software engineering, and regulatory affairs within the Medical Devices space are the most common candidates for Green Card sponsorship at BillionToOne. These positions require niche credentials that support the PERM labor certification requirement of demonstrating no qualified U.S. workers are readily available.
How does the Green Card application process work at BillionToOne?
BillionToOne typically sponsors Green Cards through the employment-based preference categories, most commonly EB-2 or EB-3, starting with PERM labor certification filed with the Department of Labor. Once PERM is approved, the company files an I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS. If your priority date is current, you can then file for adjustment of status or pursue consular processing.
How long does the Green Card process take at BillionToOne?
The timeline depends on your country of birth and the preference category your role qualifies under. PERM and I-140 processing alone can take one to two years before you even reach the visa queue. For applicants born in India or China, priority date backlogs can extend the total wait significantly beyond that. Starting the process as early as possible after joining is advisable.
How do I improve my chances of getting Green Card sponsorship at BillionToOne?
Raise sponsorship expectations clearly during the offer negotiation, before you accept. Candidates who demonstrate expertise in BillionToOne's core Medical Devices focus areas are better positioned because their skill set strengthens the PERM case. Migrate Mate can help you identify open roles at BillionToOne where sponsorship has been verified, so you're applying with accurate information from the start.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at BillionToOne?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
