Job Roles at Molecular Devices
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Molecular Devices Green Card Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target technical and scientific roles
Molecular Devices most consistently pursues Green Card sponsorship for engineers, scientists, and software developers supporting its medical device and laboratory instrumentation products. Roles requiring specialized biotech or engineering credentials tend to have the clearest sponsorship pathways.
Raise Green Card early in the offer process
Ask about long-term immigration support during or shortly after your final-round interview. Molecular Devices hiring managers in technical departments are more receptive when Green Card intent is raised professionally, before compensation discussions conclude.
Understand the PERM labor certification step
Green Card sponsorship at Molecular Devices typically begins with PERM, a Department of Labor process verifying no qualified U.S. workers are available. This step happens after you're employed, so plan for a multi-year timeline from hire to Green Card approval.
Use Migrate Mate to verify sponsorship history
Before applying, confirm Molecular Devices actively files Green Cards for roles in your field. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you prioritize applications to companies with a genuine track record.
Align your qualifications with specialty occupation standards
Molecular Devices operates in a highly specialized medical devices segment. Roles typically sponsored for Green Card require demonstrable expertise in fields like bioengineering, software, or analytical chemistry. A strong degree-to-role match strengthens both your application and the employer's PERM filing.
Build tenure before expecting Green Card initiation
Molecular Devices generally initiates Green Card filings for employees who have demonstrated value over time. Performing well, taking ownership of key projects, and building internal advocates in HR and your department significantly increases your odds of being prioritized for sponsorship.

Get Access To All JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Molecular Devices sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Molecular Devices sponsors Green Card visas for qualifying employees. The company operates in the medical devices and life science instrumentation industry, where specialized technical and scientific talent is difficult to source domestically, making Green Card sponsorship a practical retention tool for roles requiring niche expertise.
Which roles and departments at Molecular Devices are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Molecular Devices is most common in engineering, software development, research and development, and scientific roles tied to its laboratory instrumentation and medical device product lines. Roles requiring advanced degrees or specialized skills in bioengineering, software architecture, or analytical sciences tend to be prioritized over general administrative positions.
How does the Green Card application process work at Molecular Devices?
Molecular Devices typically sponsors Green Cards through the EB-2 or EB-3 employment-based categories. The process begins with PERM labor certification, where the company must demonstrate through recruitment that no qualified U.S. worker is available for your role. After PERM is certified, Molecular Devices files an I-140 immigrant petition, and you eventually file for adjustment of status or consular processing.
How long does the Green Card process take at Molecular Devices?
The timeline depends heavily on your country of birth and the visa category used. PERM labor certification alone can take a year or more. For nationals of India and China, per-country backlogs in the EB-2 and EB-3 categories can extend the total process significantly beyond the initial petition approval. Starting conversations about sponsorship early in your employment is important.
How do I find open Green Card jobs at Molecular Devices?
Searching directly on the Molecular Devices careers page is a starting point, but it won't always show which roles come with Green Card sponsorship. Migrate Mate filters job listings by verified sponsorship history, so you can identify Molecular Devices openings where immigration support is a realistic part of the offer rather than guessing from the job description.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Molecular Devices?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
