Target roles aligned with Green Card sponsorship
PROCEPT BioRobotics has a strong track record of sponsoring permanent residency rather than temporary work visas. Focus your application on roles where long-term retention matters most, such as engineering, clinical, and research functions.
Understand which visa categories they support
PROCEPT sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways, along with F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas. If you hold one of these statuses or are pursuing permanent residency, you're already in a strong position to be considered.
Leverage your OPT or CPT as an entry point
PROCEPT BioRobotics actively hires on F-1 OPT and CPT, which gives recent graduates a realistic way in. Use this period to demonstrate value, as the company has shown willingness to support longer-term sponsorship for strong performers.
Position yourself for the medical device growth cycle
PROCEPT is scaling rapidly following the commercial expansion of its AQUABEAM robotic system. Hiring tends to spike in clinical, commercial, and manufacturing roles during product growth phases, target those functions proactively.
Research verified sponsoring employers before applying
Not all medical device companies sponsor visas at the same level. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and focus your energy on employers like PROCEPT who have a proven track record.
Tailor your application to a high-growth surgical robotics company
PROCEPT competes in a specialized niche within medical devices. Highlighting experience with robotics, urology, capital equipment sales, or FDA-regulated environments will make your application stand out to their hiring teams.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does PROCEPT BioRobotics sponsor H-1B visas?
Based on available sponsorship data, PROCEPT BioRobotics does not have a significant track record of H-1B visa sponsorship. Their visa activity is concentrated in Green Card categories such as EB-2 and EB-3, as well as F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visa. If you currently hold H-1B visa status, it's worth confirming directly with their recruiting team whether they can support a transfer.
What visa types does PROCEPT BioRobotics sponsor?
PROCEPT BioRobotics sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visas, making it a strong option for candidates pursuing permanent residency. They also support F-1 OPT and F-1 CPT for recent graduates, as well as TN visas for eligible Canadian and Mexican professionals. This mix signals a company that invests in both early-career international hires and longer-term Green Card sponsorship.
Which departments at PROCEPT BioRobotics are most likely to sponsor visas?
Sponsorship at PROCEPT BioRobotics tends to be concentrated in technical and specialized functions, including robotics engineering, software development, clinical affairs, and regulatory roles. Commercial roles tied to the AQUABEAM system expansion may also sponsor, particularly as the company scales its U.S. sales and field clinical teams. Roles requiring niche expertise in surgical robotics or medical device development are your strongest bet.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at PROCEPT BioRobotics?
The most reliable approach is to use Migrate Mate, which aggregates visa-sponsoring employers and lets you filter by company, visa type, and sponsorship history. You can browse open roles at PROCEPT BioRobotics directly and confirm sponsorship eligibility before investing time in an application. This saves you from applying to roles at companies with no real sponsorship track record.
How do I approach the application process at PROCEPT BioRobotics as an international candidate?
Be upfront about your visa status early in the process. Since PROCEPT has an established sponsorship infrastructure, recruiters there are familiar with the requirements. Emphasize any experience in medical devices, FDA-regulated environments, or surgical technology. If you're on F-1 OPT, highlight your remaining work authorization window clearly so the team can plan around your timeline without unnecessary delays.
