- User Experience Champion: Design and deliver a seamless user experience across the entire testing process, in collaboration with UX designers and stakeholders.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding BillionToOne H-1B Jobs
Target roles that match H-1B specialty occupation criteria
BillionToOne's strongest H-1B candidates come from engineering, computational biology, and clinical science backgrounds. Focus your application on roles where your degree field directly aligns with the job requirements, this is what makes an H-1B petition approvable.
Confirm sponsorship willingness early in the process
Not every open role at BillionToOne will include H-1B sponsorship. Bring it up after an initial recruiter screen, once you've established interest on both sides. Asking before any conversation risks a premature rejection.
Understand where BillionToOne sits in the H-1B lottery cycle
For most candidates, H-1B sponsorship at BillionToOne means entering the annual April lottery. If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your OPT expiration lines up with the October 1 start date, cap-gap rules may bridge any gap.
Use Migrate Mate to verify BillionToOne's sponsorship history
Migrate Mate surfaces verified H-1B sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history before applying. Checking BillionToOne's actual filing record gives you more confidence going into the interview process than relying on job posting language alone.
Prepare for a technically rigorous interview process
BillionToOne operates in a highly specialized area of medical diagnostics. Interviewers will probe depth of knowledge in your field. The stronger your technical case, the stronger the underlying H-1B petition your employer files with USCIS.
Ask about premium processing availability
If your start date is time-sensitive, ask BillionToOne's HR team whether they use USCIS premium processing for H-1B petitions. Premium processing reduces the adjudication window significantly and can matter if OPT is expiring close to your target start date.
BillionToOne H-1B Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does BillionToOne sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, BillionToOne sponsors H-1B visas. The company has an active sponsorship history, particularly for technical and scientific roles in its medical diagnostics and genomics work. Sponsorship is not guaranteed for every open position, so confirming H-1B support directly with the recruiter early in the process is the right approach.
Which roles at BillionToOne are most likely to receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at BillionToOne is most common in roles that clearly meet USCIS specialty occupation standards. Engineering, bioinformatics, software development, clinical science, and research positions are the strongest candidates. Roles requiring a specific degree in a technical or scientific field are better positioned for approval than generalist positions.
How do I navigate the H-1B application process at BillionToOne?
Once BillionToOne extends an offer and confirms H-1B sponsorship, the company works with an immigration attorney to file a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor, followed by the H-1B petition with USCIS. Your role is to provide documentation of your degree, transcripts, and employment history. The process is employer-driven, but staying responsive to document requests keeps it on track.
How long does H-1B sponsorship take at BillionToOne?
For cap-subject H-1B petitions, the timeline is tied to the annual lottery, with employment starting no earlier than October 1. From lottery selection to approval typically runs several months under standard processing. If BillionToOne uses premium processing, USCIS adjudicates the petition significantly faster. Cap-exempt scenarios, such as transfers from another H-1B employer, move on a different and generally shorter timeline.
How do I find H-1B jobs at BillionToOne as an international candidate?
Migrate Mate lists verified H-1B sponsors and lets you filter by company and sponsorship history, which makes it straightforward to identify open roles at BillionToOne that are realistically accessible to international candidates. Beyond the job search, tailor your application to the specific technical requirements of each role and be prepared to discuss your visa status clearly during the recruiter screen.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at BillionToOne?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
