Target roles that require specialized expertise
Crimson Education's H-1B sponsorships tend to cluster around roles that demand deep subject-matter knowledge, college admissions strategy, academic tutoring, and curriculum development. Applying to positions with clear specialty occupation justification strengthens your case.
Demonstrate your subject-matter credentials early
H-1B sponsorship at education companies hinges on proving the role requires a degree in a specific field. Lead your application with your academic background and how it directly qualifies you for the position you're targeting at Crimson.
Reach out to Crimson's talent team before applying
Because Crimson sponsors H-1B visas selectively, a brief conversation with a recruiter before submitting your application can clarify whether the specific role has been approved for sponsorship historically and where you stand.
Search verified sponsors to find open roles
When looking for H-1B roles at Crimson Education, Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, saving time you'd otherwise spend guessing which postings actually lead to visa support.
Align your resume to U.S. education sector norms
Crimson recruits globally but operates within U.S. higher education frameworks. Tailor your resume to reflect familiarity with U.S. college admissions cycles, standardized testing systems, or academic enrichment programs to resonate with hiring managers.
Start the H-1B conversation during the offer stage
Don't wait until you have an offer to raise sponsorship. Ask during later interview rounds whether the role has been sponsored before and whether the company's immigration counsel is already engaged, it signals preparation, not desperation.
Crimson Education H-1B Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Crimson Education sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Crimson Education does sponsor H-1B visas. The company is a selective sponsor, meaning it pursues H-1B petitions for specific roles rather than across all departments. Candidates in education consulting, admissions strategy, and academic program roles are most likely to find sponsorship available, particularly where the position qualifies as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards.
Which roles at Crimson Education are most likely to receive H-1B sponsorship?
Roles most aligned with H-1B sponsorship at Crimson Education are those requiring a specific bachelor's degree or higher, such as academic tutors in STEM or humanities, college admissions consultants, and curriculum or program developers. Generalist or entry-level support positions are less likely to qualify as specialty occupations and therefore less likely to attract sponsorship.
How do I navigate the H-1B application process at Crimson Education?
Once Crimson extends an offer with sponsorship confirmed, they work with an immigration attorney to file a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor, followed by the H-1B petition with USCIS. Your role is to provide documentation of your qualifications. Because the annual H-1B cap lottery typically runs in March for October start dates, timing your job search and offer acceptance accordingly is important.
How long does H-1B sponsorship take at Crimson Education?
If your petition is selected in the H-1B lottery, standard USCIS processing can take several months, with an October 1 start date for cap-subject petitions. Crimson may use premium processing to expedite the USCIS decision to roughly 15 business days, though this is at the employer's discretion. Factor in the lottery registration window in March when planning your timeline.
How do I find H-1B jobs at Crimson Education as an international candidate?
Start by searching Crimson Education's careers page for open roles, then verify whether those positions have historically attracted H-1B sponsorship. Migrate Mate makes this easier by aggregating verified H-1B sponsor data, so you can confirm Crimson's sponsorship track record and browse active listings alongside other employers in the education sector who sponsor visas.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at Crimson Education?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
