Align your credentials with LCA-filed roles
Huntington files Labor Condition Applications with the DOL for specific job titles. Tailor your resume to mirror the exact role titles and required degree fields listed in open postings, since LCA approvals are tied to precise occupational classifications.
Target regional commercial banking divisions first
Huntington's Finance hiring is concentrated in its Midwest commercial banking and treasury functions. Applying directly to regional business banking or corporate finance teams increases your chances of reaching hiring managers who have sponsored visas for those specific roles before.
Request H-1B filing confirmation in your offer letter
Before signing, ask the recruiter to confirm that H-1B sponsorship will be included in your employment agreement. Finance offers at large banks sometimes require escalation to HR or legal before sponsorship is formally committed in writing.
Use Migrate Mate to filter verified Finance openings
Searching broadly across job boards wastes time on roles that won't sponsor. Use Migrate Mate to filter Huntington National Bank Finance postings by visa type so you're only applying to positions where sponsorship has already been confirmed.
Prepare for PERM requirements if pursuing a Green Card
Huntington sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards for Finance roles, which requires PERM labor certification through the DOL. This process tests the labor market before your employer can file, so understand the multi-year timeline before accepting a role expecting permanent residence.

Find Finance at Huntington National Bank JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Huntington National Bank sponsor H-1B visas for Finance roles?
Yes, Huntington National Bank sponsors H-1B visas for Finance positions. The company has a consistent pattern of filing H-1B petitions for roles in areas like financial analysis, credit, and corporate banking. Sponsorship is handled through the bank's HR and legal teams, and the process typically aligns with USCIS's annual April filing window for an October 1 start date.
How do I apply for Finance jobs at Huntington National Bank?
Apply through Huntington's careers portal or find verified sponsorship-eligible openings on Migrate Mate, which filters Finance roles at Huntington by visa type. When applying, tailor your resume to the specific job title and degree field listed in the posting, since Huntington's hiring teams assess candidates against the occupational classification used in their DOL Labor Condition Application filings.
Which visa types does Huntington National Bank use for Finance hires?
Huntington National Bank sponsors H-1B visas for Finance professionals requiring employer-tied work authorization, and supports F-1 OPT as a bridge to H-1B sponsorship. For candidates pursuing permanent residence, the bank has filed EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card petitions for qualifying Finance roles. TN visa sponsorship is also available for Canadian and Mexican nationals in eligible Finance occupations.
What qualifications does Huntington National Bank expect for sponsored Finance roles?
Most sponsored Finance positions at Huntington require a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a closely related field, which also satisfies the H-1B specialty occupation requirement. For senior roles in credit risk, financial planning, or corporate banking, a CFA, CPA, or MBA is common. Your degree field must directly correspond to the job title Huntington files the LCA under with the DOL.
How does the visa sponsorship process work once Huntington National Bank makes an offer?
After an offer is extended, Huntington's legal or immigration team files a Labor Condition Application with the DOL, then submits the H-1B petition to USCIS during the April filing window. If you're selected in the lottery, your start date is October 1. If you're on OPT, cap-gap rules protect your work authorization through that transition. The full process from offer to H-1B activation typically spans four to six months.
