Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Client Advisor Jobs at JPMorganChase Jobs
Align Your Credentials to Specialty Occupation Standards
Client Advisor roles at JPMorganChase typically require a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field. Document how your degree directly maps to the role's duties, since USCIS evaluates specialty occupation on that specific connection.
Target JPMorganChase's Wealth Management Business Lines
Client Advisor openings are concentrated in JPMorganChase's Private Bank and Chase Wealth Management divisions. Focusing your search on these segments improves your odds of landing a role with a team experienced in international hire processes.
Search Open Client Advisor Roles on Migrate Mate
Migrate Mate filters JPMorganChase job listings by visa sponsorship eligibility, so you can identify active Client Advisor postings where sponsorship is on the table before you invest time applying.
Understand Which Visa Pathways JPMorganChase Uses
JPMorganChase sponsors E-3 visas for Australian citizens and H-1B1 for Chilean and Singaporean nationals in addition to the standard H-1B. If you hold one of these nationalities, highlight it early in conversations with recruiters, since these paths avoid the H-1B lottery.
Prepare for the LCA Stage Before Your Offer Closes
Once JPMorganChase extends an offer, your employer must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before USCIS can receive your petition. Confirming your start date accounts for this step so your timeline doesn't slip after you accept.
Raise Sponsorship Directly During the Recruiter Screen
JPMorganChase recruiters handle high application volumes for Client Advisor roles. Stating your visa status and the specific sponsorship type you need in the first recruiter conversation filters you into the right pipeline and avoids late-stage mismatches.

Find Client Advisor at JPMorganChase JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does JPMorganChase sponsor H-1B visas for Client Advisors?
Yes, JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B visas for Client Advisor roles. The firm has an established process for international hires across its wealth management and banking divisions. Because H-1B sponsorship involves USCIS petition filing and the annual lottery for cap-subject cases, you'll want to confirm sponsorship eligibility during the recruiter screen rather than waiting until an offer is in hand.
Which visa types does JPMorganChase commonly use for Client Advisor roles?
JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 visas for Client Advisor positions, as well as employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for longer-term hires. Australian citizens can use the E-3, which has no lottery and allows biennial renewals. Chilean and Singaporean nationals may qualify for the H-1B1 under their respective free trade agreements, bypassing the H-1B lottery entirely.
What qualifications does JPMorganChase expect for Client Advisor positions?
JPMorganChase typically looks for a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a closely related field. For roles in the Private Bank or Chase Wealth Management, relevant experience in client-facing financial advisory, portfolio management, or relationship banking strengthens your application. Licenses such as the Series 7 or Series 66 may be required depending on the specific team and state of employment.
How do I apply for Client Advisor jobs at JPMorganChase?
You can find and filter active Client Advisor openings at JPMorganChase by visa sponsorship type using Migrate Mate, which surfaces roles where international candidates are explicitly considered. When applying directly through JPMorganChase's careers portal, specify your visa status in the application. The process typically moves through a recruiter screen, a hiring manager interview, and a final panel before an offer is extended.
How do I plan my timeline when JPMorganChase sponsors my H-1B?
Cap-subject H-1B petitions can only be filed once per year, with USCIS opening registration in March for an October 1 start date. If you're selected in the lottery, your employer files the full petition and you cannot begin work until October 1 unless you're already in a valid work-authorized status. Build your job search and offer negotiation around this calendar to avoid a gap in authorization.
