Align your credentials to defense contracts
KBR's Program Analyst roles frequently support government and defense manufacturing contracts. Framing your resume around cost analysis, earned value management, or contract compliance signals you can step into their project environments without a ramp-up period.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Program Analyst roles
KBR posts Program Analyst positions across multiple business units and locations. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for KBR openings tied to visa sponsorship, so you're not manually sorting through listings that won't lead to an immigration pathway.
Prepare for a multi-stage interview process
KBR typically runs technical and behavioral interviews for Program Analyst hires. Have documented examples ready that show cross-functional program coordination, especially in manufacturing or logistics environments, since that's where most of their analyst headcount sits.
Clarify sponsorship scope before accepting an offer
KBR sponsors both temporary work visas and permanent residence for this role, but not every hiring manager knows the distinction. Ask HR directly whether the offer includes H-2A or employment-based Green Card sponsorship, and get the timeline in writing before you sign.
Account for PERM processing in your timeline planning
DOL PERM adjudication currently runs six months or longer. If you're targeting a Green Card through KBR, factor that into your existing visa status expiration. An H-1B bridge strategy may be necessary to stay in valid status while PERM is pending.

Find Program Analyst at KBR JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does KBR sponsor H-1B visas for Program Analysts?
KBR's primary sponsorship pathways for Program Analysts are EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based Green Cards rather than H-1B. H-2A filings have also appeared for this function. If H-1B sponsorship is a requirement for your situation, clarify this directly with KBR's HR team during the offer stage, since sponsorship scope can vary by business unit and contract type.
How do I apply for Program Analyst jobs at KBR?
Applications go through KBR's careers portal at kbr.com. Program Analyst postings are distributed across business units including government services and industrial manufacturing, so searching by job function rather than a single location gives you the broadest view. Migrate Mate also aggregates KBR's open Program Analyst roles and filters them by visa sponsorship eligibility, which saves time if immigration support is your primary filter.
Which visa types does KBR commonly use to sponsor Program Analysts?
KBR sponsors Program Analysts through employment-based immigrant visa categories, specifically EB-2 for roles requiring advanced degrees or exceptional ability, and EB-3 for positions filled by professionals with bachelor's degrees. H-2A has also been used for this job function. The right category depends on the specific role requirements and your educational background, both of which factor into the DOL PERM process KBR initiates on your behalf.
What qualifications does KBR expect for Program Analyst roles?
Most KBR Program Analyst openings require a bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field, with preference for candidates who have experience in cost control, program scheduling, or contract management. Defense and manufacturing sector experience is a meaningful differentiator. Certifications like PMP or familiarity with earned value management systems strengthen your profile for the contract-driven environments KBR typically hires into.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take if KBR makes an offer?
For employment-based Green Cards, the process starts with USCIS and DOL. PERM labor certification alone currently takes six months or longer at DOL. After PERM approval, KBR files an I-140 petition with USCIS, and your priority date in the visa bulletin determines when you can file for adjustment of status. The full timeline from offer to Green Card approval commonly runs two or more years, so understanding your current visa status runway before you start is essential.
