Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Operations Jobs at McKesson Jobs
Align your credentials to supply chain standards
McKesson prioritizes Operations candidates with healthcare logistics or distribution experience. Before applying, make sure your resume reflects familiarity with inventory management systems and process optimization, not just general operations work.
Target roles with PERM-eligible seniority levels
Operations roles that lead toward a Green Card through PERM require the employer to run a labor market test. Focus your search on mid-to-senior positions where McKesson has historically built long-term workforce pipelines rather than entry-level contract roles.
Search McKesson's open Operations roles on Migrate Mate
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship type, so you can confirm which McKesson Operations postings support H-1B or E-3 sponsorship before you spend time on an application.
Clarify LCA timelines before accepting an offer
McKesson must file a certified Labor Condition Application with DOL before your H-1B petition reaches USCIS. Ask your recruiter where the role sits in the hiring cycle so you understand whether LCA certification is already underway.
Prepare a degree equivalency letter early
USCIS requires that H-1B and E-3 Operations roles qualify as specialty occupations. If your bachelor's degree is in a field adjacent to the role, get a credential evaluation from a NACES-approved evaluator before your employer files, not after a request for evidence arrives.
Use your 60-day grace period strategically between roles
If you're transitioning from another employer to McKesson on H-1B, USCIS allows a 60-day grace period after your previous job ends. Time your McKesson start date so the new I-129 petition is filed and receipted before that window closes.

Find Operations at McKesson JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does McKesson sponsor H-1B visas for Operations roles?
Yes, McKesson sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying Operations positions. The role must meet USCIS's specialty occupation standard, meaning it typically requires at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. McKesson's scale as an enterprise healthcare company means it has established immigration processes in place, though sponsorship availability can vary by specific role and hiring location.
Which visa types does McKesson commonly use for Operations professionals?
McKesson sponsors H-1B visas for most Operations hires requiring specialty occupation classification, along with the E-3 visa for Australian citizens and employment-based Green Cards through the EB-2 and EB-3 categories for longer-term permanent residence pathways. The right visa depends on your nationality, the seniority of the role, and your career timeline in the U.S.
How do I apply for Operations jobs at McKesson?
You can browse current McKesson Operations openings filtered by visa sponsorship type on Migrate Mate, which surfaces roles where sponsorship has been confirmed. When applying directly, tailor your resume to reflect healthcare supply chain or distribution experience. Operations roles at McKesson often involve cross-functional coordination, so highlighting process improvement work and systems experience strengthens your application.
What qualifications and experience does McKesson expect for Operations roles?
McKesson typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business operations, industrial engineering, or a related field, combined with hands-on experience in logistics, distribution, or healthcare operations. Familiarity with enterprise resource planning systems and demonstrated experience managing workflows at scale are recurring requirements across their Operations job postings.
How do I plan my timeline if McKesson is sponsoring my H-1B?
H-1B cap-subject petitions can only be filed for an October 1 start date, with USCIS registration typically opening in March. If McKesson extends an offer outside that window, they may file for the next available cap season or explore cap-exempt options. Build at least six months of lead time into your planning, and confirm with your recruiter whether premium processing is available for your role.
