Align Your Degree to Clinical Research Engineering
Medpace operates in a heavily regulated research environment, so your credentials carry more weight when they map directly to biomedical, chemical, or systems engineering. Frame your academic background around GMP, validation, or quality systems to strengthen your H-1B specialty occupation case.
Target Roles Tied to Regulated Processes
Engineering positions supporting clinical trial operations, laboratory systems, or facilities compliance tend to follow structured hiring cycles at contract research organizations. Apply to openings that reference FDA regulations, 21 CFR Part 11, or validation work, as these roles align most clearly with sponsored positions.
Confirm Sponsorship Scope Before Your Interview
Medpace sponsors multiple visa types including H-1B, TN, and F-1 OPT, but not every role or hiring manager will initiate all pathways. Ask HR directly which visa categories apply to the specific Engineering position before your offer stage to avoid timeline surprises.
Prepare Documentation for PERM Early
Medpace sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards through the PERM labor certification process. DOL requires thorough documentation of your qualifications and the employer's recruitment efforts. Gather transcripts, experience letters, and any professional certifications well before your employer initiates the process.
Browse Medpace Engineering Openings on Migrate Mate
Filter Engineering roles at Medpace that match your visa type and experience level using Migrate Mate. The platform surfaces sponsorship-verified listings so you can focus applications on positions where your immigration status is already a known fit.

Find Engineering at Medpace JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Medpace sponsor H-1B visas for Engineers?
Yes, Medpace sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying Engineering roles. Because Medpace operates in clinical research, most Engineering positions meet the USCIS specialty occupation standard, requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field such as biomedical, chemical, mechanical, or systems engineering. Confirm sponsorship eligibility with the recruiting team for your specific role before accepting an offer.
Which visa types are commonly used for Engineering roles at Medpace?
Medpace supports several visa pathways for Engineering candidates, including H-1B for specialty occupation roles, F-1 OPT and CPT for students and recent graduates, TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying engineering disciplines, J-1 for certain research or training positions, and EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card sponsorship for permanent residence. The right pathway depends on your nationality, degree, and the specific role.
How do I apply for Engineering jobs at Medpace?
Applications go through Medpace's careers portal, where Engineering roles are listed by function and location. To find roles already filtered for visa sponsorship compatibility, browse Migrate Mate, which aggregates Medpace Engineering openings alongside sponsorship details. Tailor your resume to highlight regulated environments, validation experience, or clinical research exposure, as these signal direct fit for Medpace's engineering teams.
What qualifications does Medpace expect for sponsored Engineering positions?
Medpace typically looks for a bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering discipline directly relevant to the role. For roles in clinical or laboratory environments, experience with GMP compliance, FDA regulations, equipment validation, or quality systems strengthens your candidacy. Advanced degrees can support an EB-2 petition if you're pursuing permanent residence through the National Interest Waiver pathway.
How do I plan my timeline when targeting a sponsored Engineering role at Medpace?
If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your STEM extension eligibility early, as it determines whether you have enough runway to clear the H-1B lottery. H-1B cap-subject petitions must be filed by April 1 for an October 1 start date. For TN, status can often be obtained at the border within days. For PERM-based Green Cards, the DOL process alone can take 12 to 18 months, so start conversations with Medpace's HR team early.
