Align your credentials to clinical research operations
Medpace Project Administrators work directly within CRO trial teams, so framing your background around study coordination, regulatory documentation, or clinical operations will carry more weight than general administrative experience when applying.
Target roles open across multiple Medpace sites
Medpace staffs Project Administrators across several U.S. locations, including Cincinnati. Applying to openings at multiple sites improves your chances significantly, since sponsorship decisions are often tied to specific team hiring timelines rather than a central quota.
Clarify your visa category before your first interview
F-1 OPT and CPT authorizations require employer action on tight timelines. Confirm early whether the specific hiring team has worked with your visa type before, so you and the recruiter can align on USCIS filing windows without surprises late in the process.
Understand how TN status applies to your role
If you hold Canadian or Mexican citizenship, TN classification may be available for Project Administrator roles that require a qualifying degree in a relevant scientific or management field. Confirm the role's educational requirements match a DOL-recognized TN profession before your offer stage.
Prepare documentation for a specialty occupation argument
H-1B eligibility for Project Administrator roles can face USCIS scrutiny if the position appears generalist. Gather documentation showing the role requires a specific degree field, such as life sciences or public health, to support a credible specialty occupation filing.
Use Migrate Mate to find open Project Administrator roles
Filtering for visa-sponsoring employers in clinical research manually is time-consuming. Use Migrate Mate to browse verified Project Administrator openings at Medpace and comparable CROs, so you can focus your applications where sponsorship pathways are already established.

Find Project Administrator at Medpace JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Medpace sponsor H-1B visas for Project Administrators?
Yes, Medpace sponsors H-1B visas for Project Administrator roles. The key requirement is that the position qualifies as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards, meaning it must require a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as life sciences, public health, or a related discipline. Roles that skew toward general coordination rather than technical research operations can face additional scrutiny during the petition process.
How do I apply for Project Administrator jobs at Medpace?
Applications are submitted through Medpace's careers portal. Before applying, review the job description carefully to confirm the role aligns with your educational background, since Project Administrator qualifications at Medpace typically favor candidates with clinical research, regulatory, or life sciences exposure. You can also browse open Medpace Project Administrator roles filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility directly through Migrate Mate.
Which visa types does Medpace commonly use for Project Administrator roles?
Medpace has sponsored a range of visa categories for administrative and operational roles within its research teams, including H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN, J-1, and employment-based Green Card pathways such as EB-2 and EB-3. The visa type offered depends on your citizenship, educational background, and the specific requirements of the role you're hired into.
What qualifications does Medpace expect for Project Administrator candidates?
Medpace typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in a life sciences, health, or related field, combined with demonstrated familiarity with clinical trial processes, regulatory documentation, or research operations. Project Administrators at Medpace support active CRO study teams, so experience with study coordination workflows, data management tools, or regulatory submissions strengthens your profile considerably over general administrative backgrounds.
How do I manage visa timing when pursuing a Project Administrator role at Medpace?
Timing depends heavily on your current status. F-1 OPT holders should flag authorization end dates early in the process, since H-1B cap-subject petitions are only filed once per year in April, with an October 1 start date. If your OPT expires before October, a STEM OPT extension or CPT bridge may be necessary. TN and H-1B cap-exempt pathways can move faster. Confirm the timeline with Medpace's HR team as soon as you receive an offer.
