Align your credentials to Modine's engineering focus
Modine's Manufacturing roles lean heavily on thermal management and HVAC systems knowledge. Before applying, make sure your resume and any credential evaluations reflect specialized technical skills in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering rather than general production experience.
Target roles that match your visa category
Modine sponsors multiple visa types including H-1B, TN, and F-1 OPT. Engineering and process-focused Manufacturing titles are more likely to qualify as specialty occupations under USCIS criteria, so prioritize those over general labor or assembly roles when targeting positions.
Activate OPT early for manufacturing engineering positions
If you're on F-1 OPT, apply before your OPT start date since manufacturing hiring cycles can run eight to twelve weeks. Modine's Engineering and Operations teams need time to prepare an H-1B petition well before your OPT expires to avoid a status gap.
Use Migrate Mate to surface Modine's open Manufacturing roles
Modine posts Manufacturing openings across multiple locations and business units, making it easy to miss relevant positions. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Modine roles that match your visa type and manufacturing specialization so nothing falls through the cracks.
Prepare for a DOL prevailing wage review before negotiating
For H-1B and PERM-based roles, Modine's HR team must certify your offered salary meets DOL prevailing wage levels for the specific job location. Research the applicable wage level for your role and metro area through the DOL Foreign Labor Certification Data Center before entering compensation conversations.
Clarify sponsorship scope during the offer stage
Some Manufacturing employers sponsor initial H-1B status but don't commit to Green Card sponsorship through PERM. Ask Modine's recruiter directly whether sponsorship extends to EB-2 or EB-3 PERM filing, especially if long-term U.S. work authorization is part of your career plan.

Find Manufacturing at Modine Manufacturing Company JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Modine Manufacturing Company sponsor H-1B visas for Manufacturing roles?
Yes, Modine Manufacturing Company has a history of sponsoring H-1B visas for Manufacturing positions, particularly those that qualify as specialty occupations under USCIS criteria. Engineering-focused roles in areas like thermal systems, process engineering, and product development are the strongest candidates. Positions that primarily involve general production or assembly work are less likely to meet the specialty occupation threshold.
Which visa types does Modine Manufacturing Company commonly use for Manufacturing roles?
Modine sponsors several visa types for Manufacturing roles, including H-1B for specialty occupation positions, F-1 OPT and CPT for students in engineering or manufacturing programs, TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying engineering roles, and employment-based Green Card categories including EB-2 and EB-3 for longer-term sponsorship. The right category depends on your nationality, degree, and the specific role.
What qualifications does Modine Manufacturing Company expect for Manufacturing roles?
Most Manufacturing roles at Modine that come with visa sponsorship require a bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering. Hands-on experience with HVAC, thermal management, or precision manufacturing processes is a strong differentiator. Roles at the senior level often expect familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies alongside the technical foundation.
How do I apply for Manufacturing jobs at Modine Manufacturing Company?
You can browse and apply for Modine Manufacturing jobs through their careers page or through Migrate Mate, which filters open roles by visa sponsorship eligibility so you can identify positions that match your status. When applying, tailor your resume to reflect the specific technical competencies listed in the job description, and clearly indicate your visa type and work authorization timeline in your application materials.
How do I time my application to account for H-1B filing deadlines at Modine?
USCIS opens H-1B registration in early March each year, with a lottery typically completed by late March. Modine would need to register you before that window closes. To be considered, target applications between October and January so there's enough time for hiring decisions, offer finalization, and internal legal preparation before the March registration deadline.
