South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor & delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services—from primary and preventive care to specialty services for children and adults—all designed to keep our community healthy.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Opportunity Details:
- Provide clinical care in an outpatient setting including patient examination, recommendations for and/or interpretation of appropriate routine diagnostic tests.
- Inform the supervising physician of all changes in the patient's condition and pertinent diagnostic results.
- Surgical assist in the Operating Room with a surgical robot.
- Perform inpatient rounds, collect data and write pertinent progress notes on charts.
- Counsel patients regarding physical and mental health.
- Develop patient management plans in accordance with established protocols in conjunction with the attending physician.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant education program.
- Current NYS registration as a Physician Assistant.
- Current certification issued by the NCCPA.

WAGES AND BENEFITS
Annual Base Salary: $131,127 - $174,836 based on 40-hour work week. The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $144,239 - $192,319, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution and other factors as set forth below:
- 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
+ Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
+ After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
