Frame Your PMP Around Healthcare Compliance
Quest Diagnostics prioritizes project managers who understand regulated environments. Highlight experience with FDA-governed processes, HIPAA-adjacent workflows, or CAP-accredited lab operations in your resume before you apply. Generic PMP credentials alone won't differentiate you.
Target Roles Tied to Lab Network Expansion
Quest frequently hires Senior PMs to lead diagnostic network buildouts and systems integrations. Filtering your job search to roles mentioning LIS platforms, lab consolidations, or enterprise-wide rollouts puts you in front of the highest-activity hiring pipelines at the company.
Confirm Sponsorship Eligibility Before Your Interview
Quest uses E-Verify and its internal HR process to assess sponsorship feasibility by role and level. Ask your recruiter directly whether the specific requisition has budget approved for H-1B or EB filing before you reach the offer stage to avoid late-stage surprises.
Build Your TN Case If You Qualify
Canadian and Mexican nationals can often begin work at Quest under TN status without waiting on the H-1B lottery. A Senior Project Management role typically qualifies under the Management Consultant or Engineer categories. Confirm the USMCA category with your attorney before your first day.
Align Your Start Date to H-1B Cap Season
If you need H-1B sponsorship, Quest's HR team will need to file your petition by early April for an October 1 start. If you're on F-1 OPT, calculate your remaining authorized work period against that timeline so your USCIS-authorized status bridges without a gap.
Use Migrate Mate to Find Verified Openings
Quest posts Senior Project Management roles across multiple locations and business units at different times of year. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Quest Diagnostics roles that are open to visa sponsorship, so you're applying to the right requisitions from the start.

Find Senior Project Management at Quest Diagnostics JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Quest Diagnostics sponsor H-1B visas for Senior Project Managements?
Yes, Quest Diagnostics sponsors H-1B visas for Senior Project Management roles. Sponsorship is typically tied to specific requisitions and budget approvals, so availability varies by position. Confirm with your recruiter early in the process. If you're on F-1 OPT, Quest can also support the cap-gap period between OPT expiration and your H-1B activation date of October 1.
How do I apply for Senior Project Management jobs at Quest Diagnostics?
Apply directly through Quest Diagnostics' careers portal, targeting roles that mention sponsorship or align with your visa category. Migrate Mate curates Quest Diagnostics openings that are open to international candidates, so you can filter by role type and sponsorship eligibility before applying. Tailor your application to highlight regulated-industry project delivery experience, particularly in clinical or diagnostic settings.
Which visa types does Quest Diagnostics commonly use for Senior Project Management roles?
Quest Diagnostics sponsors H-1B visas most commonly for Senior Project Management positions. The company also supports F-1 OPT and CPT for candidates earlier in their career arc, and TN status for eligible Canadian and Mexican nationals. For candidates pursuing permanent residence, Quest has filed EB-2 and EB-3 petitions through the PERM labor certification process for this function.
What qualifications does Quest Diagnostics expect for Senior Project Management roles?
Quest typically looks for a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, information systems, or a health-related discipline, along with a PMP certification and substantial experience managing cross-functional projects. Candidates with backgrounds in laboratory services, diagnostics, or healthcare IT integrations are particularly competitive. Familiarity with LIS platforms, regulated change management, or enterprise systems rollouts adds meaningful differentiation.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Senior Project Management offer at Quest Diagnostics?
Timeline depends heavily on your visa category. H-1B petitions follow the annual USCIS cap cycle, with filings in March and employment starting no earlier than October 1. TN status for eligible nationals can often be secured at the port of entry within days. PERM-based Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 or EB-3 typically takes one to three years or longer depending on your country of birth and USCIS and DOL processing backlogs.
