Frame your BD experience around measurable outcomes
Robert Half evaluates Partnership Development Managers on revenue impact and client retention. Before applying, document specific pipeline growth, deal sizes, and partnership revenue you've driven so your credentials translate directly to what their hiring managers assess.
Target Robert Half's enterprise and national accounts divisions
Robert Half structures its partnership development function across segments. Roles tied to enterprise clients or national accounts partnerships tend to carry stronger sponsorship precedent, so filter your search toward those divisions rather than applying broadly across all open positions.
Prepare your specialty occupation documentation proactively
Partnership Development Manager roles can face USCIS scrutiny over specialty occupation status. Have a clear narrative connecting your specific degree field to the analytical and strategic demands of the role before your employer files the H-1B or E-3 petition.
Negotiate sponsorship into the offer before signing
Once Robert Half extends an offer, confirm the sponsorship timeline in writing, including whether they'll cover premium processing through USCIS. Staffing-sector employers sometimes vary on premium processing coverage, so get clarity before you give notice to your current employer.
Use Migrate Mate to find open roles filtered by sponsorship
Partnership Development Manager openings at Robert Half turn over frequently across regions. Use Migrate Mate to browse current listings filtered by visa type so you're applying to roles where sponsorship is already confirmed, not following up manually on each posting.

Find Partnership Development Manager at Robert Half JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Robert Half sponsor H-1B visas for Partnership Development Managers?
Robert Half's primary sponsorship vehicles for Partnership Development Managers tend to be E-3 and TN visas for Australian and Canadian or Mexican nationals, along with F-1 OPT extensions. H-1B sponsorship is possible but less common for this role category given the lottery-based cap and the seniority level typically required. If H-1B is your only pathway, discuss it explicitly during the offer stage rather than assuming it's included.
How do I apply for Partnership Development Manager jobs at Robert Half?
Applications go through Robert Half's careers portal, where Partnership Development Manager roles are listed by region and division. You can also use Migrate Mate to browse current openings filtered by visa sponsorship category, which saves time identifying listings where international candidates are already being considered. Tailor your resume to emphasize client acquisition, revenue growth, and partnership pipeline management relevant to the professional services staffing sector.
Which visa types are commonly used for Partnership Development Manager roles at Robert Half?
Robert Half sponsors across several categories for this function. Australian citizens are well-positioned for E-3 visas, which require a specialty occupation and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Canadian and Mexican nationals can use the TN visa under the business services or management consultant category. F-1 OPT and STEM OPT extensions cover recent graduates during their authorized work period. Employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 are also on record for this function.
What qualifications and experience does Robert Half expect for Partnership Development Manager roles?
Robert Half typically looks for candidates with a background in business development, account management, or professional services sales, usually backed by a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. For sponsored candidates, the degree field matters beyond the job title because it anchors the specialty occupation argument USCIS or consular officers evaluate. Several years of demonstrated client-facing experience in a staffing, consulting, or B2B services environment strengthens both your application and the sponsorship case.
How do I time my application if I'm on F-1 OPT or finishing a grace period?
If you're on F-1 OPT, you have up to 60 days between jobs before your authorized period ends. Robert Half's hiring process for Partnership Development Manager roles typically runs four to eight weeks from application to offer. Starting your search early gives enough runway to complete interviews, negotiate sponsorship terms, and allow your employer to file any required petitions or Labor Condition Applications with DOL before your current authorization lapses.
