Tailor your resume to electrical construction
Rosendin's APM roles emphasize field coordination, subcontractor management, and RFI tracking on large energy projects. Highlight any experience with electrical systems, construction scheduling software like Primavera or Procore, and site-level work, not just office-based project management.
Pursue a PMP or construction management credential
Rosendin consistently posts APM roles requiring or preferring a degree in construction management, electrical engineering, or a related field. If your degree is from outside the U.S., get a credential evaluation through a NACES-member agency before applying.
Target Rosendin's regional offices strategically
Rosendin operates across multiple states on utility-scale and industrial energy projects. Applying to locations with active data center or renewable energy buildouts improves your odds, since those regions tend to carry larger project backlogs and more open APM headcount.
Understand how H-1B timing affects your start date
If you need H-1B sponsorship, USCIS only accepts cap-subject petitions in April for an October 1 start. Align your application timeline so you're interviewing in late fall or winter, giving Rosendin enough runway to file before the registration window opens.
Browse verified APM openings on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter Rosendin Electric's Assistant Project Manager postings by visa type. It surfaces roles where sponsorship is confirmed, so you're not guessing whether the position accommodates H-1B, OPT, or TN status before you apply.
Clarify OPT or TN status with the recruiter early
If you're on F-1 OPT or a TN visa, confirm with Rosendin's recruiter before the final interview round that the role qualifies under your authorization. APM positions in construction typically meet TN's engineer or management consultant categories, but the specific job description wording matters.

Find Assistant Project Manager at Rosendin Electric JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Rosendin Electric sponsor H-1B visas for Assistant Project Managers?
Rosendin Electric does sponsor H-1B visas, including for project management roles. Because the H-1B requires USCIS approval and is subject to the annual cap and lottery, sponsorship is more likely for candidates already in the pipeline before the April registration window. Discussing your visa situation early in the recruiting process helps both sides plan around the timeline.
How do I apply for Assistant Project Manager jobs at Rosendin Electric?
Applications go through Rosendin Electric's careers portal, where APM roles are posted by region and project type. You can also find and filter their open positions on Migrate Mate, which lets you sort by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm a role fits your work authorization before submitting. Tailoring your resume to highlight electrical construction experience improves your chances significantly.
Which visa types does Rosendin Electric commonly sponsor for Assistant Project Manager roles?
Rosendin has sponsored H-1B visas for technical and project management talent. Candidates on F-1 OPT or CPT can also work in APM roles during their authorized period, with H-1B sponsorship as a potential next step. Canadian and Mexican nationals may qualify under the TN visa category if the role meets DOL's defined professional occupations list, which APM positions in engineering-adjacent functions often do.
What qualifications does Rosendin Electric expect for Assistant Project Manager positions?
Most Rosendin APM postings require a bachelor's degree in construction management, electrical engineering, civil engineering, or a related field, along with some exposure to construction site operations. Familiarity with project controls tools like Procore, Primavera P6, or Bluebeam is frequently listed. International candidates should have a credential evaluation completed if their degree was awarded outside the United States, as this supports both the hiring review and any visa petition USCIS processes.
How long does it take to get work authorization sorted when starting an APM role at Rosendin Electric?
Timeline depends on your visa type. F-1 OPT authorization through USCIS takes up to 90 days to process, so apply early. H-1B cap-subject petitions can only start on October 1 each year, meaning a gap of several months between offer and start is common. TN visas for Canadian citizens are adjudicated at the port of entry and can be secured in a single day, making them faster for eligible candidates.
