Align your credentials to construction procurement
Rosendin's procurement teams work directly with electrical materials suppliers and subcontractors on major energy projects. Highlight experience with construction or project-based supply chains on your resume, not just general purchasing or retail procurement backgrounds.
Identify open roles before your OPT clock starts
F-1 OPT gives you 60 days between roles. Start targeting Rosendin's procurement openings while still employed or in school so you're not racing the grace period when you apply and interview.
Clarify sponsorship intent in your cover letter
Electrical contractors like Rosendin evaluate sponsorship case by case. Stating your visa status and timeline upfront saves both sides time and signals you understand the process, which reduces friction for their HR team.
Understand how TN status fits procurement roles
Canadian and Mexican nationals in procurement may qualify for TN status under the Management Consultant or Engineer category, depending on the specific role. Confirm the job description maps to a qualifying TN occupation before the offer stage to avoid delays.
Time your application around H-1B cap registration
If you need cap-subject H-1B sponsorship, USCIS registration opens in March each year. Securing an offer from Rosendin by February gives them enough lead time to register on your behalf before the window closes.
Browse Rosendin procurement openings through Migrate Mate
Filtering job boards for sponsorship-verified roles saves significant time. Use Migrate Mate to find current Rosendin procurement listings confirmed for visa sponsorship, so you're applying to positions where sponsorship is already on the table.

Find Procurement at Rosendin Electric JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Rosendin Electric sponsor H-1B visas for Procurement roles?
Yes, Rosendin Electric has sponsored H-1B visas for roles in its procurement function. Sponsorship decisions are made on a per-role basis, so not every opening will include it. Your strongest approach is to apply for roles explicitly listed as open to sponsorship and confirm the employer's intent during the offer stage, before USCIS registration deadlines in March.
How do I apply for Procurement jobs at Rosendin Electric?
You can apply through Rosendin Electric's careers page directly or find their open procurement listings through Migrate Mate, which filters for positions where visa sponsorship has been confirmed. When applying, tailor your resume to reflect experience with construction materials, subcontractor management, or energy-sector supply chains, since those are the most relevant backgrounds for Rosendin's project-driven procurement teams.
Which visa types are commonly used for Procurement roles at Rosendin Electric?
Rosendin has sponsored H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN, and J-1 visas for roles across its business, including procurement. F-1 OPT is the most common early-career path, letting you work for up to 12 months (or 36 months with STEM OPT extension) before transitioning to H-1B sponsorship. TN is an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying occupational categories.
What qualifications or experience does Rosendin Electric look for in Procurement candidates?
Rosendin typically looks for candidates with experience in construction or project-based procurement, particularly around electrical materials, vendor management, and contract negotiation. A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field is standard. Familiarity with large-scale project environments, subcontractor coordination, or energy sector sourcing will make your application significantly more competitive than a general purchasing background.
How do I manage the H-1B timeline when pursuing a Procurement role at Rosendin Electric?
USCIS opens H-1B cap registration each March for an October 1 start date. If you're on F-1 OPT and your work authorization expires before October, Rosendin can apply for a cap-gap extension to bridge the gap, provided your OPT was valid when the H-1B petition was filed. Securing your offer by late February gives HR enough runway to meet USCIS registration deadlines without rushing the internal approval process.
